B5109, BeaumarisWhat an unexpected little gem of a place.Let's be blunt... it looks like a run down shack because it is a bit of a rundown shack.But it's staffed by lovely people, and the cakes... oh my... the home made cakes are delish.We've been back several times for coffee and cake, buying extra slices to bring home for visitors.The biggest downside... there is no inside seating at all, only a couple of tables under the awning with the rest around the side and rear. So hope for some warm weather, or wrap up nice and cosy as it gets quite windy in Beaumaris.Parking: There is a car park behind the castle and another large parking area near the sea front. It is paid parking, although at certain times of the year when events are on, it can be free. The car park behind the castle has free parking for disabled, the one on the sea front does not.

Not only will you have the perfect, most memorable views of the Sea, Puffin Island and the Lighthouse, The calm and peacefulness of Penmon Point - The Pilot House cafe do the best, fresh cooked food ? Big portions at really good prices. The owners Hayley and Phil will go above and beyond to make you feel most welcome.. Even at their busiest times, they will deliver your food to your motorhome/campervan! We have eaten indoors too and the hospitality & cleanliness really is the best.. A massive thank you to them, you guy's really do deserve recognition ❤️ x

Red Boat Ice Cream Parlour
34 Castle St, BeaumarisAmazing ice cream and great sauce on tap (chocolate, strawberry and lots more)!! Costly but great selection of ice cream flavours - they used to do a Bara Brith flavour years ago that was my favourite but was no longer there. Petition to bring that back! Queue moved quickly and chocolate dip cone was 10/10. We got a Coffee and Walnut and a Raspberry Ripple.

Church St, BeaumarisWe stumbled across this lovely pub by accident and went in for an early evening meal with our eight-year-old son. The service was really good and the range of soft drinks impressive but we have to say the food was amazing. Such a lovely experience. Thank you.

38 Castle St, BeaumarisThe staff are nice. Definitely more of a bar feel than a restaurant in the front. Mixed menu not all 100% tapas so there is some choice. The portions could be a little bigger for the price, I know it's tapas but a few more olives would be good.

Hansom's at The Bulkeley
19 Castle St, BeaumarisAs guests at the hotel, we visited on our last night with no problems being seated without a booking. We both had starters and mains (steaks) and all good ordered was absolutely beautiful. We came away very full and very impressed.

Castle St, BeaumarisFantastic food in a lovely bright and clean setting. The Thai Green Curry was light, nicely spiced and cooked well, along with a nice bread and slaw. My parents enjoyed their meals too and we felt it was good value for money. The restaurant area was bright, clean and comfortable and the service was excellent with an excellent waiting team and quick service. Will definitely be back again!

Food was delicious and very well organised with no issues at all. Staff friendly, funny and very helpful. Especially Jackie & Paul. Big thank you and we can’t wait to return.

As it's above the deli, when that is closed, it's really not clear that the restaurant is actually open when it is

Pier House Cafe and Bistro
The Front, BeaumarisThis was a stand out place in Beaumaris. Lovely interior, and dog friendly, too.The food was fantastic. We ordered a burger and loaded fries -- the sauces were clearly homemade, and rich and tasty. The coleslaw was also homemade, with subtle flavour rather than overpowering onion. The burger had the most delicious smoked bacon and I can't stop thinking about it - will definitely be back.Highly recommended if you want food cooked from scratch rather than something thrown together.
