Wow, the food here is spectacular. Spectacularly bad that is.We, unfortunately, were starving having spent a wonderful day walking around the beautiful island and anything remotely approaching food would have been devoured with relish.We all ordered fish and chips, and what came was large and obviously previously frozen.Deep, dark brown batter covered dense, tasteless cod (?).I understand this used to be a family run business and was good, but was recently bought by a chain. The building looks lovely and the staff tried, but if this meal is anything to go by, go to the fish and chip restaurant a short walk away, they can't do as badly as this place.Go for a drink and enjoy the multiple bars, one with a lovely fire, but eat somewhere else

Fantastic food in a lovely bright and clean setting. The Thai Green Curry was light, nicely spiced and cooked well, along with a nice bread and slaw. My parents enjoyed their meals too and we felt it was good value for money. The restaurant area was bright, clean and comfortable and the service was excellent with an excellent waiting team and quick service. Will definitely be back again!

A brilliant place to stay in Beaumaris!We stayed in the ‘General Mytton’ suite which is a fantastic room full of character.Staff couldn’t have been more helpful.Food (dinner and breakfast) was also great.Would definitely stay here again.

Stopped by for food on Sunday 4th March.The location, food and range of drinks were all superb. Would highly recommend this place to anyone and will be back.Food & drinks: The food was high quality. Plated on warm plates and presented professionally.Would have absolutely no problems recommending the pub to anyone.
