The staff are nice. Definitely more of a bar feel than a restaurant in the front. Mixed menu not all 100% tapas so there is some choice. The portions could be a little bigger for the price, I know it's tapas but a few more olives would be good.

We enjoyed our meal. Everything was perfect. Thank you!

The food was very poor. Fast food prepared in a microwave!Spanish Artisan Breads came with two sauces. Tomatoes with olive oil, bland, no flavour. A garlic mayo spread, this was OK, nothing special.Albondigas a la Jardinera - now, this is supposed be meat ball with spices. I know, I have a Spanish background, my family cooked this regularly. This was a highly blended pureè with spices but, mushy! Flavourless, no real flavours that stood out. They got the peas right with tomato sauce but again, the sauce was....dead in flavour. Here is the best part. Muscles with cream sauce, marinere. The muscle was minute, overcooked again, no flavour, dry. The sauce was salty. These so called tapas were extremely, yuck with every mouthful.I'm not a chef but, I could rustle up a far better dish. Please, purchase fresh ingredients, Easy to provide tapas with flavour.

Very tasty tapas night out ??Some lovely cocktails to start and then various delicious tapas with Pino Grigio and White Rioja. The Desserts a bit disappointing ...Cream Catalan was tiny for the price ...Churros were lovely ..choccy sauce not great .Definitely recommend the place to visitors .?????

The Midland is an exceptional tapas restaurant ( and I am writing this whilst on a visit to Madrid!) . Tapas there is made from fresh local ingredients where possible and is innovative and always delicious. The restaurant staff are not only efficient and courteous but also give a warm and personal welcome despite being often very busy.Missing the grilled cauliflower florets - were they spiced with garam marsala?

Always have an evening at the Midland every year when we stay at Henllys. This visit was better than ever. Service was good and very quick. Food was excellent, especially the patatas braves. We ordered too much as usual- 3 dishes each, and they are all a good size. Not enough room for desserts!

Fabulous food. Really could have been eating in Spain. Definitely going back...Atmosphere was a bit quiet as it was Sunday lunch time.

Put it this way, we ate there 4 out of 6 nights! Great ‘Welsh Tapas’ menu in a lovely building, great staff & service. Food is delicious & staff make suggestions which is useful when everything is so good! We’ll be back in February

Date night and thought we'd treat ourselves to a nice night out. As we love a good Tapas Bar this sounded like the perfect place. We couldn't have been more wrong. For the price, the food we had was so far below par that Jack Nicholson would have been happy with the score! As we were only a street away from the seaside you would have thought that the Tropical seafood taco's would have had something fresh in it!!! Miniature frozen prawns and chopped up crabsticks from the local Co-Op in a watery 80's prawn cocktail sauce does not equate to a fresh tropical dish... and not a mango in sight as described on the menu! And then, when I addressing the issue with the waitress, she took our concern to the kitchen, we could see the staff laughing and dismissing her. Very rude and totally unprofessional. First time we've ever left a restaurant hungrier than when we went in!!! Couldn't have been more disappointed. Especially with so many other very good establishments to eat in within the beautiful town of Beaumaris. What a waste of money!

The bread was supposed to be Artisan!!! We received par baked supermarket rolls. Not impressed with them or the rest of our dinner. Very poor service and quality.

Awful! Cold chowder, which wasn't much better after we'd sent it back to have it heated up. The other 'tapas' really really weren't worth the money, at all, we left most of it. Never going back!
