Breakfast Restaurants in Brecon

“Wonderful warm welcome from Bronwyn and Steve. We booked last minute and they were very accommodating. The Lodge is in a superb location nestled at the bottom of the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) with access to walks such as up towards Fan y Big and Pen y Fan or onto the Monmouth and Brecon canal. The town of Brecon is approximately 6 minutes drive away with enough eateries to choose from should you need/want to. You could also walk via the canal if you've time.Bronwyn and Steve are both extremely friendly and helpful hosts. Breakfast was great, well portioned and the homemade vegetarian sausage was tasty. They were able to cater for my partner being Coeliac at breakfast and even provided gluten free cookies in our room which was a nice treat. The breakfast room and lounge has the most lovely view - I can imagine on a snowy winter's day to be a really nice spot to cosy up by their burner. The room itself was a good size (no.4) plenty of space for our stay to store items with a lovely view west south west towards the mountains. The very well sized bathroom overlooks the garden facing north, the shower was hot and a really good size too. The bed was comfortable and the room warm. Having a mini fridge was useful and having fresh milk was a nice touch. A drying room for our damp shoes as well as a hose to wash things down was another great addition after a muddy hike. We would definitely recommend staying here, it's a beautiful place with fantastic hosts.”

“Great meal with excellent service. Very helpful staff for our particular needs. There were nine of us. Only comment would be bad parking area - not enough space.Food & drinks: Food well presented and very reasonable price for a Sunday lunch. We would certainly call again. Thank you.”
