Llanfihangel Tal-y-llyn, BreconI’ve eaten here multiple times, both dining in and takeaways. I’ve never had any problems with the food, everything is always cooked freshly and to order and within a reasonable time. Staff are always very friendly and attentive. Also a lovely place to just have a drink.

One of many community spaces in our beautiful Brecon where you feel instantly welcome and the staff instigate genuine conversation - not just monotone words memorised from a script.
I love coming here with friends, family or to work for a few hours on my laptop catching up with appointments.

Bishops Meadow, Hay Rd, BreconAte here last Thursday for my son’s Birthday. Absolutely delicious burgers but can also recommend the falafel kebab. Staff were friendly. And a lovely atmosphere to have a meal. Would recommend booking. Particularly on the weekend.

U1, Bethel Square, Shopping Centre, Lion St, BreconGreat Greggs shop and lovely Welsh staff as always. Mexican oval bite was delicious and better than what you get in England but the reason for the 1 star loss is for me personally the custard slices are not very good. Icing very bitty and not a lot of vanilla flavour from the custard and they seem to be smaller thinner than a mobile phone!

44 High St, BreconThe food area looked very clean and tidy, the service was quick and polite, food was was good, what you would expect maybe a little expensive for what you get. We ordered one large (8 pieces) chicken shish and one small (4 pieces) chicken shish, both came with small box of fresh salad and a small pot of garlic mayo and we paid £19.50. You are able to pay with either cash or card

Libanus, BreconA family run pub,restuarant as the season starts you will have to book a table as it is run to a high standard of everything service, food, politeness and is very dog friendly water,dog sausages and even gave us a blanket for the dog to lie on. Seating area outside with nice view. We had the steak and chicken fajita with tortilla wraps 10/10 thanks for everthing.

Pwllgloyw, BreconA friendly welcome, we went on a wednesday evening and both had the chicken curry with proper home made chips 10/10, i am glad i treated myself to the apple and plum crumble with proper vaniila ice cream it was the best ive ever had 10/10. We were visiting the area for a few days and was made to feel very welcome thanks to all especially the chef ?

A40, Bwlch, BreconUnfortunately I was not able to try the food as the chef was out on the night in question, but the vibe is amazing and the people are lovely. I went in at two separate points in the night - around 7pm and 10pm. Both times were splendid. I talked with some locals and made some memories while being so content in this really comfortable and cozy pub setting.

4-5 Rich Way, BreconWe popped in today on recommendation from someone as we have just moved to the area, and just wow! The best fry up I’ve ever had at an amazing price, staff and locals friendly and welcoming, with one lady cooking for a full cafe we still received our food in great time! Hats off to her, honestly couldn’t fault the food and didn’t see her stop the whole time we were there, the two girls who worked there too were lovely, we will definitely make this our regular spot for breakfast :)

Newton House, Newton Park, BreconThe restaurant is set in a wonderfully cosy spot, and the service was excellent throughout. The food tasted genuinely authentic, and the portion sizes were generous. I’d highly recommend stopping by if you’re visiting the Brecon Beacons. There’s plenty of parking too, as the restaurant is located within a golf club.

Brecon tandoori -Indian Restaurant.
Watergate, BreconThis was a hobson choice decision out of a lack of availability for the restaurants we had planned to go to. But we were very pleasantly surprised. The food was freshly cooked and full of flavour. The nan bread was also made fresh nan of the reheated frozen nan that has become a common labour saving strategy here.
We liked it so much we went again while we were visiting the Hay Festival.
My only complaint is that it is hiding in plain sight. It would have been a pub before, and nothing much has changed to its look externally, and the name sign is on the corner angle and poorly positioned. So we walked past it and were very dubious if we had found the right place. Good signage would increase their business tremendously, so preserve, and you will not be disappointed

Good quality coffee and lovely bacon! Lots of happy customers around us and a nice atmosphere - the locals love it here and I can see why. Simple food done nicely. The array of cakes is awesome - taking some on our walk with us! Thank you.
