Having seen the comments about this cafe. We decided today to call in for lunch. Well we were not disappointed. My wife had fish and chips, and I had Bacon, eggs and chips. After our walk along the Lake Walk, we call back in for coffee and cake. All of which was delivered by very happy and helpful staff. If today was your normal service you have a wonderful cafe. Thanks

Plenty of outside seating on a gravelled area. Currently no inside seating due to Covid. Distant views of the beacons.

Nice selection of cakes and coffees. Cake servings good, coffees were a little small. Nice area to sit outside and eat on the benches, car parking immediately outside.

Awful Customer Service, be sure to memorise the menu @ the door as nothing has a price once you’re inside!!\\nCoffee is good albeit pricey \\u0026 the peanut slice was delicious ? empty bag to prove it\\nNo Dogs allowed ?\\nStill insisting on masks ?\\nThey have a captive audience from the camp site \\u0026 this is reflected in the way they treat Customers… single use just like a mask!!

Gorgeous cheesy chips and lemon cheesecake. Very quick service on food but queued quite a while to order. Reasonable prices as well

We stopped off here for lunch, really wish we hadn’t. Food was very disappointing. My sausages were rock hard, could have literally been used as a hammer… obviously had been cooked and then “reheated” for far too long. Burger was tasteless and chips were on the border of being burnt. Staff were unhelpful and moaned when we asked for more condiments, which we needed because the food was so dry and tasteless. The two other tables who were eating also left a plate full of unwanted food. Cmon fix up!! I could probably cook a better meal under the bonnet of the car.\\nOh and the prices were awful. McDonald’s has better quality food and you’re charging triple the price for dogsh*t.

Friendly and welcoming staff with good covid measures still in place.\\n\\nLovely cakes and good coffee. Didn’t try the hot food but the menu has a lot to offer. My friend is gluten free so will visit at some point to try their curry or chilli!

Two out of the three meals we ordered were low quality. Stale part baked baguette that was obviously cooked a few days ago. Microwaveable rice to go with a tasteless curry. No real customer service.\\nThe location is amazing though and could really benefit from a cafe or restaurant with higher standards.
