“This is a great little pub but it doesn’t look like this, as it’s the wrong photo, wrong pub! However, that aside, this place is how pubs should be, choice of four ales, Butty Bach, Felin Foel, and two guest beers often from Grey Trees, Salopian and Bristol Beer. And then lagers, Guinness and all the usual drinks. The food is home cooked by the owner, from scratch - wonderful and at a very competitive prices. As said above, it is small so there is limited space, booking is essential, worth it in my opinion. And then there is the landlord’s sense of humour……Vegetarian options: There are lots; and vegan, gluten free etc - very accommodating.Kid-friendliness: They seem to be very welcome”

“We have enjoyed two fabulous meals at the Three Horse Shoes, Friday night and Sunday lunch, both were delicious and can thoroughly recommend this fabulous pub tucked away in Groesffordd. Only remembered photos of Sunday before we cleared our plates. Dog friendly ”

“Food was fantastic. My wife had gammon, chips, mushrooms, peas, onion rings and an egg and it was a really good portion. I had the bridge burger with one of the biggest beef patty I think I've ever had. Brie bites for starter were amazing. Lovely friendly staff and a lovely seat next to a roaring fire. We'll worth a visit.”

“A lovely pub with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Met the owner, who was really chatty and made us feel welcome. Food was really tasty, and they had a good variety of ciders. Would definitely recommend!”

“Great pub. The (I'm assuming) landlady was very welcoming and a really great host. No coffee machine but she was more than happy for us to bring our Costa in. Great for watching the football. Would highly recommend!”
