When we head up into the Brecons, we always make a point of visiting this quaint restaurant. It's tucked away, setting you on a mission of discovery to both find the restaurant and it's mouth watering menu. What do I personally recommend? Everything! And as everything's made to order, you can have as mild or as hot as you like. Book in advance most days, then sit back and enjoy the warm Nepalese hospitality and lovely food.Parking: Main public carpark just opposite the museum. Plenty of street parking.

Hands down the best and most authentic southern Asian food I've had in 3 years in the UK, and trust me, being indian I have tried a lot of it.

Enjoyable meal, friendly staff who were helpful and lovely to chat to as well.Food was cooked reasonably fast, but it was super quiet in the restaurant so don't know if that's indicative of speed of service at busy times.Food was very delicious and the portion sizes were very generous.

This is a bit of a hidden gem. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is amazing, serving some of the tastiest Asian dishes. Not particularly hot but with plenty of punch. Nice Nepalese beer too. Staff were friendly and the pictures and decor gave it a really nice feel even though it was fairly simple. Reasonably priced. Good vegetarian options. Will be back again.

Absolutely marvellous experience. The food is delicious, the freshest, tastiest naan breads I've ever had. Nice level of spice but not blow your head off. The service was spectacular. Would recommend when visiting Brecon. I'd go again.

Great Nepali food (South Asian approved ?) and friendly staff. Nice cosy atmosphere (the only thing is the tables might be little too close to each other)

Can be a bit busy at times. But it's always worth the wait. Fantastic food. Beautiful flavours , lovely atmosphere.

Visited for lunch. The service was very good, but the food was mediocre. I was surprised as I had read all the positive reviews.

The food was absolutely delicious, not overpriced and the portions were big. I didn't have any starters, just the main dish with naan bread. Naan was superb and the nettle dish had an original, new for me flavour, very tasty. The staff was attentive, even though the restaurant was very busy at that time. If I would be local, I would definitely come back.

Service speed varies greatly. Last time we visited we booked for 7. Table wasn't ready until half past, starters arrived at 8:45 and mains near half 9. Priority seemed to be given to take aways rather than customers in restaurant. Food quality is good, and well worth a visit just be prepared to wait a long time

Great place, amazing selection of Nepalese Curry. Tried things I've never had before. Great friendly service. My favourite restaurant in Brecon

Food was very good and we were satisfied with the quantity for the price we paid. Very polite and professional service by the female attendant. But sorry I’m reducing one star for the appalling service by the male attendant (on 9/12/23 evening). I thought it was only for us but reading other reviews it seems he has been ungracious for a while. He literally seemed uninterested in having us and he kept answering in circles when we were enquiring about a few menu items.I would still revisit and recommend this place considering the tasty food, but I would prefer ordering food from other attendants or asking the manager directly.

Waiter/server seemed very uninterested in dealing with us, began staring at another customer/blanking us mid-order.We waited over an hour for our food. A number of tables were seated well after we had placed our order (very standard order). By the time we received our food, 2 of these tables had already eaten and left the restaurant. When our food eventually arrived there were a few dishes missing and a few of our dishes were wrong. The dishes we did have were okay on the whole, I do recommend the momos.I appreciate this is a small and likely family business, and these kinds of reviews aren't beneficial for these types of businesses, But I felt compelled to leave a review of my experience.
