It is the perfect cafe; great food - who doesn't like cheese and cake, warm, welcoming and reasonable prices.

The most welcoming coffee shop ever, unique and chic, friendly staff, great Welsh hospitality.

Splendid little cafe and gift shop specializing in Welsh Rarebit and local sweets. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious. They also sell a variety of local arts and crafts as well as jams and chutneys. Visited while on holiday from the US in Oct 2023.

I've been wanting to try this for ages. Finally got the chance today. Wasn't disappointed. Lovely place. Indoor fire. Lovely staff.I had the classic Welsh rarebit. Really enjoyed it. Next time, I'll be having the Patagonian. The homemade chutney was stunning.Wasn't too keen on the pear and salted caramel cake. Wish I'd had the cherry and almond. Coffer was nice. Tea was lovely (in a big pot). The owner was friendly and welcoming.Really nice atmosphere. Would definitely return.

Wow! Excellent stop on our way from Pembrokeshire to Bristol. Friendly, warm vibe. Toasty wood burner and Gluten free/ Coeliacs properly catered for. Looked a little grim from the outside, absolutely gorgeous inside. Recommended ?

Lovely place to visit. The food is fantastic, the Peppery Patagonian is highly recommended. The staff are friendly & helpful & the service is first class. We had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch. We will visit again when next in the area.

A wonderful find! A really interesting café with local arts and crafts on sale. There's a selection of rarebits on sale, home made soup and salads. Good coffee. We'll be back when we're travelling in the area.

What can you say - the name is in the title. The best rarebit I’ve ever had. Fab local apple juice. The salad garnish seemed home grown. Great location, readily pointed out other points of interest. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful and scenic Tea house located in an old school building, which was originally founded in 1626 and closed in 1947. The owner kept some old features and added some cute references to the school history. The Welsh Rabbits were excellent.

I just love it so much. It's so cute and the food is amazing and the lady who runs the place has just done an incredible job with it. It's a little slice of magic. I've brought friends, family and my bf here on several occasions. Go and you will be absolutely charmed!

A lovely spot with very accommodating staff. Came here on a beautiful summers day on the Susuki.Unfortunately the food is what I call a 'bit fancy pants' and whilst the Welsh Rarebit was delicious, the salad was not to my tastes. However, the coffee was good but it's not cheap - 3 coffees n 2 classic Welsh rarebit came to just over £25.
