A lovely cosy environment. Try and grab the seats by the open fire for a cosier experience. I brought 2 young children there and despite it presenting itself as a high star meal the business openly welcomes active children with entertainment games a piano and space for them to explore. The food is exquisite and top class presentation yet at affordable prices. A must if you visit Llangorse.

Very pleasant pub, nicely decorated and friendly service. Most importantly, the Sunday lunch was excellent. Just two small complaints - 1. The roast potatoes weren't as good as the rest of the food and 2. The pudding (a crumble) was tiny and over-priced. But I suppose you can't have everything!

I visited the pub today with my partner and our parents for a Christmas meal. The food was delicious and a very reasonable price. Service was impeccable, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We all had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

A lovely pub with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Met the owner, who was really chatty and made us feel welcome. Food was really tasty, and they had a good variety of ciders. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely love this place. We have a caravan in the village and visit pretty much every Friday and have dinner most Sundays. Great atmosphere, surroundings, food and fabulous staff (especially Charlie) who has made every visit a great laugh. We are going to miss this place so much. Roll on March next year when our caravan season starts again. We cannot recommend this place enough.

Refined cuisine in a small village, nothing could be more typical! The cuisine is sophisticated, and the chef does a real job. The pub is large, but it's advisable to book in advance, as they serve a limited number of tables at the same time!

Hands down the best Sunday roast in Wales. Staff were lovely and dog friendly. Ticked all our boxes.

In the middle of a little village - perfect for exploring and walking is this delightful place. You can tell that it has recently been refurbished with the pristine paintwork and welcoming feel from its exterior. Walk inside and it’s a wow! So tastefully done with a mix of old, traditional and modern - lovely brick work, quirky touches, open areas, quiet sections, bright in parts but also romantic lighting in others. Very tastefully done and an excellent vision from the owners (even the toilets are posh!). Visiting for a long weekend, we popped in for a drink the first evening. Very reasonable prices and choice. Friendly and attentive staff and chatty owner who came in and straight away put the log fire on and invited us on an organise walk the next day. We returned for delicious food! A small menu presented on chalk boards, but very interesting! Not just pork belly, but Asian style. Not just Ribeye, but with a rosti and a sumptuous mushroom sauce etc, everything had a bit of a twist. No starters as such, but a sides menu to which some could be have as starters but ordered and come together. The coconut and spicy mango chicken was one (amazing - could have had this as a main!) and truffled chips another - yum. A perfect dessert menu!! I’ll let the pictures do the talking! Very reasonably priced, and great staff. We really had nothing to criticise. We will be returning for our final night - only for a drink but from what we’ve seen, I’m sure the Sunday dinner would be amazing also. An excellent find!

A well run kitchen, a superb Chef, excellent service.Fish and chips was a really chunky piece of cod, with a light, crispy, delicious batter. It was delicious and not at all greasy.A real step above average pub food.It felt like really good value for the effort that went into it, the quality of the ingredients and the expertise of the service.Strongly recommend, go out of your way to eat here.
