Our first visit to the The White House for Sunday Lunch which was well worth the journey.A quirky place to say the least with lots of interesting ornaments etc especially the pink cow, giraffe Portrait of a Duck to name a few.We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff who were very attentive and friendly throughout.Lunch was excellent with generous portions and it was appreciated that the Chef took time to speak to us.We will certainly return and would highly recommendFood & drinks: Food was excellent (three courses) with good variety.Choice of beers and wines also very good and reasonably priced.

We came in for a roast dinner. The location is brilliant and the people are incredibly friendly. There was a bit of confusion about the vegetarian roasts but this was all sorted and very kindly handled by the owner.

My wife and I had Sunday lunch yesterday and it was nothing short of fantastic. All dishes were well cooked and presented with friendly staff. They even let us stay in their car park for the night in our Motorhome. That gave us the opportunity to have a bottle of wine without having to drive.

We visit this treasure of a hotel at least twice a month. This hotel/restaurant is one of the hidden secrets in Bannau Brycheiniog. The staff are so polite and the food is second to none. The Whitebait has to be eaten to be appreciated and the beef the finest I have had the pleasure of eating. Make an effort to

An eclectic mix of styles incorporating lots of artificial flowers and strawberry painted cows!We had Sunday lunch, the waitress was lovely, we ordered whitebait to start, didn't resemble Whitebait at all , looked and tasted like breaded sardines, main course roast beef and veg, all lovely and tasty, pudding chocolate profiterole, umm, choux was almost inedible sat on a slab of chocolate goo, lots of fresh cream, in conclusion , stick to a main course, and wrap up warm as it was very cold in the resturant.
Lovely hotel. Full of character and warmth with very pleasant and welcoming owners. Good food at a reasonable price and good beer. I would definitely stay there
