Had a fantastic evening at the three horseshoes. Took a punt (and a walk) to the pub after struggling to find anywhere with any space in Brecon, and so pleased we did! Food was exceptional and the welcome was warm. Our only disappointment was that they didn't do food on a Sunday or we'd have been back the next day!

We have enjoyed two fabulous meals at the Three Horse Shoes, Friday night and Sunday lunch, both were delicious and can thoroughly recommend this fabulous pub tucked away in Groesffordd. Only remembered photos of Sunday before we cleared our plates. Dog friendly

We had a great lunch here, very friendly people and top notch food. This is very deceiving from the outside, the pub is tucked away and not obvious to find. Difficult for us to judge the atmosphere as on our visit it was mid week and quite early but it felt homely. The premises were very clean. There is a very good selection of wines and beers. Defiantly worth a visit

Second visit in a few weeks, we were so impressed the first time we came that we booked to revisit with friends today.The food was amazing as was the service. Great beer too.This is an amazing pub with fantastic food and if you are in the area definitely worth a visit. We were so impressed that we were willing to drive for over an hour to get here, its that good.We will be back.

A perfect balance between fine dining and good hearty food! Very comfortable vibes, cold drinks and food was outstanding. We went here after climbing the Fan and felt well rewarded. Definitely coming back!

Excellent Sunday lunch. The children liked to be outside in the beach hut, despite the rain. Great service. Really good Yorkshire puddings and mashed potato and excellent selection of vegetables.

Hidden at the top of a street is this fantastic gem of a pub, had popped in on our way to somewhere for a drink and thought "I need to come back here and try the food"You won't be disappointed, marvellous home cooked food presented with immaculate style and served by friendly staff, great choice of drinks to accompany the meal and a lovely local pub atmosphere. Make this one of your "go to" visits for a night if your in the area for a visit, you will definitely want to return.

We where sent here on recommendation by a friend whilst we where on holiday in the area. Managed to book an last minute table for 2. Parked on the main road and walked up the side road toward the pub which looked very welcoming with all the flowers. We grabbed a pint and where shown our table. The staff where very welcoming and the menu had lots of options. The reason I’m writing this review is to praise the pub and it it’s staff BUT also to whoever is reading this I’m recommending it to you too ! GO GO GO ! We can’t wait to come back here on holiday and coming back to the three horse shoes will be on our list . Thank you to all the staff and whoever owns this pub your doing a brilliant job ❤️

What an unexpected treat! We phoned ahead and they fitted us in an hour later but we were not expecting such an exceptional Sunday Lunch! It was honestly the best we've eaten in a long time and we immediately booked to return in a few weeks time with friends. The roast lamb was melt in the mouth, the vegetarian option was so tasty and the vegetables and gravy were just delicious. Portions were plentiful and all piping hot, nothing to say other than fantastic!
