Place was lovely and clean, the lady that served us was very pleasant and lovely. we ordered to portions of chips, a battered sausage, a chicken & mushroom pie and a burger meal. All in all, the cost was reasonable. But I don’t appreciate how we was in the shop for 10 minutes, just myself and my partner and then got served cold chips, cold sausage and no pie when they told us it was fresh and we will live right opposite!NOT HAPPY!

Absoultley shocking customer service. Poor attitude from the moment you enter no greetings, no manners, no please or thank you . Even small requests are met with huffs, puffs and eye rolling. These people should not be in business. Requested a minor alteration to the order and the miserable cow behind the counter deliberatley soaked the chips in tons of vingegar in a spiteful way. I refused them and requested another portion..she threw the chips angrily in the bin and said how would you like to be here doing my job?thats not the point though, service should come with a smile manners cost nothing and she was hostile about every minor request. She clearly hates her job and the attitude on both her and the man is hostile from the start. Shut this place down. Awful atmosphere and overpriced soggy greasy food . Won't be returning .

Called in today 28 November . Had fish , pie and chips sorry it was awful . Chips not cooked and soggy . Fish partly black , old , batter rock hard impossible to cut or chew. . Pid 50/50 parts were edible . Most of pastry rock hard not edible .
The food was lovely and good portion for the money. We paid £ 10 for 2x sausage and chips although not large the portion was not small at all. The Fishbar takes cash only however provides a free cashpoint inside, there is parking opposite for free.Parking: Parking opposite with plenty of spaces for free

the chips were raw and the curry sauce was really chunky and had a gross texture, not to mention the 4 strands of hair that we found buried beneath the chips. overall the food didn't taste bad, the workers were polite and the sausage had no problem.
