Went here randomly one evening as the boyfriend hadn't thought to book the place he wanted to take me and it was full... Im so glad ot was because we wouldn't have come here! Wow! What a lovely surprise, as a vegan I struggle to find options of a decent meal and it's not just something chucked together. I had the meatless souvlaki... Oh my gosh it was wonderful and there were sooo many other main meals to choose from along with sides, spoilt for choice! The service was top notch, was given the wine to taste before buying and the serving staff were so good. Has become one of our favourite restaurants in Bridgend now. Prices are decent and not overly priced as some vegan dishes are for just veg. Have been back a few times and look forward to our next one.The boyf is a meat eater and was blown away also by the quality of the food.Vegetarian options: So many vegan and veggie choices to be hadDietary restrictions: Vegan options are really good and delicious

My first visit to Tholos. We came for our date night, and I was thoroughly impressed. The decor is dark modern, has a nice mood lighting, and cool Greek myth murals on the walls. The waiting staff were really nice and efficient. The man who took our drink order was very knowledgeable and gave me a good recommendation for a Greek rose, which I loved.The food was probably the best I have eaten in South Wales. We had the shared mixed starter of hummus, tzatiki, bread, dolmades, and feta pies, which was lovely. Plenty of it and tasted like it was all made fresh.For mains, my husband had the Beef Stifado and I the lemon- oregano chicken. They were both stunning. I could have eaten that chicken all night. Again, it was very fresh and plenty of it. We were too full for dessert this time, but I want to go back and have some next time. I highly recommend Tholos. It was only a short walk from the train station too.

This is definitely one of the best Greek food experiences you will get.A great looking restaurant with nice decor, fantastic service and outstanding food.The mixed starter to share with the small cheese pastries, stuffed leaves, feta cheese, humous, tzatziki and bread was very tasty. The main of beef stifado was a hearty dish and the beef just fell apart in it.I will definitely be back to try more of the menu as if its half as good as last night ill be happy.

Where to start, the staff were very welcoming, warm and friendly, Dave our waiter was absolutely hilarious, very smart, funny and helpful with the food and drinks order. The decor was really nice, the drinks tasted great and was a big selection which was great. The food was out of this world, portion size was really good, taste was amazing. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Booked Tholos for Valentines Day and ordered food from the regular menu. The meal was incredible! The chefs did an amazing job, So much flavour and everything cooked on the plate was exceptional! Although the service felt very rushed, we had our starter brought out within 5 minutes of ordering. The same happened with the main meal. I ordered the Lamb Paidakia and would highly recommend that dish!Then there was a long wait for the bill. I would definitely visit again, but I would like to enjoy a breather in between courses.
Was served very quickly. Food came out super quick. It was delicious and the portions were massive. We were asked if everything was ok. Plates taken away quickly. Top notch service. Price is fair.
