' king prawn tagliatelle 'Not king prawn but small frozen shrimp. Pasta not cooked properly, tomato sauce not cooked correctly. No parmesan or herbs. 17.50£ really terrible. Should have sent this back. My work mate felt unwell after fish and chips. No fun and a waste of good money for poor fare. This place should invest in a proper chef.

We had our christmas work party here on the weekend. The food was lovely and plenty of it. The staff were very warm and welcoming too, we would highly recommend it to anyone.Food & drinks: Very nice and very generous servings.

Didn't stay over as was just passing through but what a lovely place ☺️ could 100% see me coming back with my partner and staying over.Service and staff was great nice friendly warming and helpful.Food was absolutely fantastic steak cooked to perfection and all that comes with that meal was beautiful.Very highly recommend visiting as the pub itself is nice comfortable and clean had a amazing log burner! 10/10Food & drinks: Both meals was fantastic! Recommend +++.Me and my partner have been craving a proper Sunday roast out with flavoursome vegetables, good roasts, and proper Yorkshire puddings, but that is also vegan and vegetarian......and here we found it!Vegan: nut roastVegetarian: glamorgan sausages.We both said how amazing it is. The flavour was there. The textures (we hate overcooked mushy veg) the atmosphere was warm and cosy (we picked our spot by the table), and the staff were so lovely and efficient.We also had dessert... my partner had the syrup sponge which she said was so good!And when I said I was vegan they went to the kitchen to see and they offered me fresh fruit and vegan cream! Normally I just got told "we don't have anything"Cannot recommend this place enough. If you're in the area....go!

Accommodation was great, stayed in room number 2, it had everything you would expect. The bed was also really comfy.The restaurant downstairs is really cosy and the food was great.Melissa and Steve are very friendly, I can highly recommend the stay.
