Whilst visiting a friend in Talgarth, we decided to order the Sunday roast as a take away. We deliberately ordered later to avoid the lunchtime rush and the meal arrived on time and was piping hot. I had the turkey and my friend had the nut roast, accompanied with roast and mashed potatoes, carrots, cauliflower, peas, beans, cabbage, stuffing and gravy. All beautifully cooked and delicious. I enjoy coming here. Its a lovely place with a great small community /village atmosphere. It provides a safe and warm space for community groups as well as for walkers, hungry folk, or simply for those in need of a quiet, comfy space for coffee. There are many options on the menu, both food and drink wise. Reasonable prices and time to wait for food. Customer service is fantastic. Dropped by Easter Sunday after a walk to the water falls.Super place loads of books.I can imagine that this is quite a busy place on a nice day.Party of 6 for lunch.Sunday lunch seemed a very good price with an option of having 1,2 or 3 courses fellow diners finished every bit of theirs.We opted for sandwiches /toasties which also proved to be great.The van kept coming back and forth delivering what I presume were Sunday lunchesWould definitely recommend.
