Aroy mak mak...amazing ? my chicken red curry was to die for. Tender chicken, coconut soup and bamboo shoots just like Thailand. Jasmine rice straight from Thailand. Having spent more time in Thailand than Buckley. I have tried a lot of Thai food and Thaidee is an amazing takeaway. Buckley is very lucky to have it ?

Food was expensive and I couldn’t believe how small the amount was. There was nothing to it and cost £20!! The worst of it was how rude and obnoxious the staff were. No customer service at all! After such a bad experience, I thought at least I have some food (however small) Sadly, the food was the same as their service, discussing! Avoid at all costs! Not even worth one star!

Disclaimer: First time trying Thai foodI visited Thaidee a few days ago as a supper treat/experiment and unfortunately I just don't think this was for me, perhaps I came on a bad day but the general experience was sub-par for us.I ordered inside at the touch-screen Kiosk and paid by card, which is very refreshing and modern in a cash-dominated takeaway environment like Buckley's. Very easy to order, clean interior, nice to hear the woks going in the kitchen. Comfortable seats while waiting.I do not know if this is normal, but it was a 30 minute wait from the time of ordering. It did seem like there were a lot of delivery orders going out, so maybe it was busy or maybe the food preparation just takes that long - Either way, I understand that food cannot always be quick so this was not an issue. The menu was quite small which I generally regard as a good sign, I often find that the likes of Chinese takeaways with massive menus can often result in most things being sub-par. Everything did seem to be very customisable which is always appreciated, so I don't think a smaller menu was a detriment at all.I ordered the Pork Skewer starter, and the Stir Fried Ka Pow - Rice, with Chicken. Upon getting the food home, I discovered that I was given noodles instead, so I am ultimately unsure if I was given the same dish with noodles or a different dish entirely. The noodle dish was a little sweet but ultimately very bland for me, with the only real point of interest being a median level of spice. The noodles were shared with another member of the household who felt similarly about the flavour. Throughout eating I did experience little flashes of more complex flavour but unfortunately, these were few and far between for me. I am unsure if this is normal as it is my first time trying Thai food, but the noodles were also very oily. The chicken skewers came in a foil lined paper bag designed to keep them warm which is a nice touch. Unfortunately, I found the skewers to also be bland but also a little dry - Not excessively so. The general impression I got was that the skewers were finished before my other dish and then kept in the bag or under a heat lamp, ultimately diminishing the texture and mouth-feel. Despite this, I did find the little pot of sauce supplied with the skewers very tasty when drizzled on. I'm afraid that on this occasion, this was the only interesting thing about the meal and I very much enjoyed what it added.Upon finishing there was a lot of fluid left in our bowls from the noodles, around 50ml (3 tbsp) when poured and measured out which was not particularly nice. The portion size was good, with the noodles likely being plenty by themselves as a primary meal for one. Due to my issues with the flavour, the price of £9.00 that I paid for this, or at least for the dish I ordered, was steep - especially compared to surrounding takeaways in the area. The price of £4.50 for the skewers as a starter I would say is fair, with the additional sauce provided being a saving grace.Once again, I do not know if I just came on a bad day or if there was an issue with what I ordered but I believe that the food I received was not an accurate representation of what my friends tell me of Thai food, which is a shame. I would not be opposed to trying this again on a different day in the hopes of a better experience - Best of luck with your own orders, everyone else seems to generally be satisfied.

Ordered for the first time, food wasn't unpleasant, but unfortunately we just struggled to find much taste in any of the 3 meals we had. There is plenty of meat, and the portion sizes are great.

We have had several takeaways from ThaiDee in Buckley. Always very tasty. Definitely recommended; would give them 4.5 out of 5.

Delicious food, with loads of vegan options! Really good value for money too.Vegetarian options: Nearly all of the dishes can be made to dietary requirements, including vegan and vegetarian.

20-30 minute delay on order time. Every time we have ordered something from Thai Dee Buckley, the order has been a minimum of 20 minutes late, don't understand why as there seems to always be enough staff on duty and the shop front is never busy.... dont get it. Food is ok, nothing to write home about. Never have had something delivered.... probably be still waiting for it if I did.Go for a Chinese or Indian instead.

The food is always so fresh, it is nice to watch the chefs prepare the food. Hygiene is top standard in the kitchen! I am a fussy eater so for someone who is always amending and adding to my orders, there is never anything too much to ask for. The team in Buckley go above and beyond and just what the area needs, such fresh and authentic food! Highly recommend!

We tried this place last week after hearing nothing but good things. As a vegetarian I was a little apprehensive but wow… the young girl on the phone was so helpful and explained I could have any dish off the main menu and the chefs would adapt the recipe to meet my requirements. The food was piping hot when we got home which was great considering we live 25 minutes away from the restaurant. I had the stir fried ka pow and my partner had a massaman curry with rice. Both meals were so full of flavour and portions were huge - none of us could finish our meals as much as we wanted to! We will definitely be ordering again!
