Our stay at Whispering Pines Lodge was a nature lover's dream. Nestled amidst tall pines, the lodge exuded a sense of tranquility. Our cabin was impeccably clean and had a rustic charm that made us feel right at home. The lodge staff were incredibly helpful in suggesting nearby trails for exploring. This is a place where you can truly escape the noise of the world.

I’ve never stayed in such a perfect hotel, arrived to be greeted by Nic in the car park, walked into a very well presented room with a couple of cookies waiting.Breakfast included with a great menu. The best food and host ever. Honestly the best hotel and host I’ve ever had.

Amazing hosts and facilities, rooms were superb and homely and the breakfast was amazing. Stayed here just one night as part of a planned bike tour but will be looking for an excuse to return. Need to mention the homemade cookies also provided in the rooms - scrummy!

This B&B really felt as if you were staying with relatives, from the friendly welcome and informative chats with hosts and other guests. Our room was compact but had everything you’d want, and the choice of breakfast included a few choices of hot dish all well prepared. Ample car parking within the front garden area

I could not recommend any place better to stay!Nick and Lydia are so lovely and welcoming and pay attention to detail. I felt right at home and the bedroom was gorgeous and had a lovely view, there were even some homemade cookies in my room that were delicious. The guestbook in my room had a lovely list of restaurants and tells you about the history of the town. The breakfast was honestly the highlight of my stay! So many options and the food was delicious. Everything was just fantastic and I would honestly come back just to have breakfast again.

Nick and Lydia have a beautiful place here, with fabulous views out the front of the house to the Wye valley, and a lovely garden view out the back. Their breakfasts really are amazing, I had the Avocado toast, with poached egg and sesame crunch, it was top notch and to be expected with Nicks cheffing history, 3 AA rosettes! A lovely couple, and a welcoming peaceful place to stay. Thoroughly recommend. Thank you for your hospitality, and I hope to see a Honda Hornet parked out the front when I'm next passing ;-)Rooms: Beautifully appointed rooms, with lovely tea and coffee facilities, fresh milk! and the best home made cookies to die for!Walkability: A very short walk into town and the fabulous view of bridge over the river.

I had a great stay at The Cedars. Nick and Lydia are the loveliest people, very welcoming and accommodating. Considering I completely forgot to let them know I'm vegan ahead of time, they managed to prepare a delicious breakfast without making me feel like a nuisance. 100% would recommend

From the welcome to the breakfast everything was fantastic. Extremely comfortable beds, great location, fab hosts and the breakfast was the best. I would recommend and stay here, we only did 1 night but stay longer it's that good.
