Stopped off on our way through to North Wales and had a lovely lunch (two adults and two kids). Good location, friendly service and the food was tasty for all. Great place to break our journey.

I stayed at The Cedars as part of a trail riding holiday. It exceeded my expectations. Lydia and Nick were fab hosts, just the right level of being there when needed and vanishing at the right points. The room was lovely and clean, albeit the ensuite was a bit dated. There are books everywhere giving the place a lovely lived in feel.
The food was amazing! I would come back if traveling through just to eat. The breakfast was lush and a good portion, dinner was great with the most amazing crumble and custard to finish.
This is a real gem and well worth a visit.

Just back from a perfect stay here with my family. The house and gardens are so beautiful. The pool table and hot tub were a highlight. The beds were really comfortable and the house had everything you could need. We had a couple of questions while there and David and Caroline were really quick to get back to us and help. We were really sad to leave. Had lovely meals at the white horse and cosy corner cabin.

Fantastic proper home-cooked food, white bate, calamari, prawns fried in butter to die for,Hunters chicken one of the best we have ever had, definitely worth a visit, support local, very reasonably priced. £41 including drinks! Quirky collection of spirits the glitter gin was great on the pallet to finish off our road trip to north Wales, a 2 hour trip home now, glad google maps recommended this lovely find. ??

Stopped here for dinner, we had the home made steak and ale pie and the beef chilli con carne. The meals were spot on, the chilli was spicy hot and the pie was 10/10 lovely puff pastry top and proper filling with soft melt in the mouth beef, both meals were in a 2 for £20 deal otherwise were around £14 each so great value too.
The staff were lovely, welcoming and approachable. Worth popping in if you're in the area. Thanks again to the staff and chef keep it up ??

Parking: Nearest Parking is in Groe car park and is £3.25 for up to 4 hours.

Food and drinks: We just went as it was raining and close to where we were staying, the pub basic in the way of furniture but comfortable. A good range of drinks . The pub was very clean and the barmaid was cleaning the shelfs in between serving customers. The menu was a good one ,was told one thing was not on it but still great choice. When the food came it was nice to see a full plate and had homemade chips and was well presented it was real homemade cooking. Its was a really lovely meal all round. It was well worth the money. Have to other places and been so disappointed . The food and drinks in the greyhound hotel are well worth the money brilliant.

Service was a tad slow (busy time?) and I struggled with the touch screen ordering - I suppose it was obvious to the person that designed the app. Staff friendly and well turned out and food up to standard.
