Great proper pub food, we went for Sunday lunch and had beef with all the trimmings. Portions were generous and the views over the river are lovely. Our waitress was attentive and friendly.

Stopped for a coffee and a bit of a rest after walking up from Crindau. The coffee was great & good value for money. The service was quick and efficient.

The staff need to be fully briefed on the redeeming of car parking when paying via the app or the signs need to be updated to clearly state parking is only redeemable when purchasing parking by ticket machine only.Although I got my parking back eventually, the blonde bar staff was quite rude and did not want to give us our car parking back. Only when we asked for the manager did a bloke come over and refunded.

Our party of 4 adults and 2 children plus a young puppy were made to feel very welcome straight away with dog biscuits for the puppy! Great food at very reasonable prices made for a very good stopover on our way to Pembrokeshire, would highly recommend this pub.

Keep meaning to find time to review used to go regularly before covid and both having health problems but been going for months know food always hot which we like very consistent good but I have been having small gammon 2 or 3 times a week amazing cooked perfectly no big fat rind everything perfect as for Kate and Leighton so helpful and caring then unfortunately can't remember everyone's names Rachel alisha cerys Alice Hayden they are all amazing so helpful as hubby has mobility issues but will find out everyone's names and write another review so you all feel appreciated roll on Saturday third time this weekVegetarian options: Good selection like a vegetarian know and again for a changeParking: Have put in meters good idea as people were parking and going elsewhere so sometimes you were unable to park but pub not full but meters playing up so you just give reg number if you are eating or drinking no parking ticket suits usWheelchair accessibility: Ample and easy

such a shame the staff let this place down. we popped in for sunday lunch and didn’t receive our food until we had been there an hour and a half already. the staff have the most vacant look on their faces and are ‘looking’ over tables without even doing anything, glasses and plates left for way too long before clearing away. customer service needs massive work. big shame as food wasn’t half bad and well priced.

Would recommend. Great pub staff brilliant and helpful, plenty of choice for alcoholic/ soft drinks and coffee. Dog friendly and has free biscuits for them. Large food menu with plentry of choice, we had a burger and sausage and mash, the meals very generous ( dog had to share). Everything very clean. Interesting old pictures on the wall.Would go there again when in the area

It's been a few years since I have been to Hanbury Arms, But I'm and so glad I visited recently, what an experience, the building is full of character, The food/Service OUTSTANDING. Especially the hunters chicken( Delicious).I will definitely be recommending it to family and friends, Also last but definitely not least I would like to thank 1 member of staff in particular who went above and beyond, Nothing was too much trouble for Annalise, A Credit this establishment. 10/10

Had a wake for my mothers funeral yesterday, poor service, paper cups for tea and coffee, food was poor for the money paid and staff were not helpful at all. Nobody greeted the party on arrival no food was ready when we arrived, then it was set up away from the area they seated us. Would not recommend or spend money in that establishment again.£460 for sandwiches some sausage rolls and mini eggs which weren’t the best at all
