Food was lovely however there was an hour wait for food and 40 minute wait for desert. We also booked a table in advance which stated we needed a high chair. We were then told where our table was and they have put us on a high rise table where the high chair didn’t reach the height of the table meaning my son was unable to eat his dinner at the table. That was totally unacceptable seeing as we booked in advance and stated we would need a high chair

I called them booked a table for my son and myself. My son who's in his forties, I'm in my late 60s....So we were looking for a quieter meal to talk and relax.But unfortunately we were given seats in the corner amongst all the noisy children.So unfortunately we did not stay very long like we hoped. So sadly we did not stay very long.Don't get me wrong I love children, when my children were young I was happy to sit amongst all the children, with the noise of happy children.Also to top it off, my son was disappointed with his meal, the photograph of the meal that he ordered, and what he got, it was nothing like it. I think the photograph was superimposed to make it look bigger than what it was.The company needs to ask the customer if they're happy to sit in the corner with all the children. Or wait for a more appropriate seating location.

Got to our table at 16:45 and then orderedfood for 7 people at 17:10. Went to the bar to ask about our order at 18:00 to be told table in front then our table. Food came at 18:20 chips reheated and still cold and fork struggle to go through them and burger warm luke warm.

It was really good I really enjoyed my cheese burger and my dessert rocky road sundae it was so nice it melted in my mouth now I love the place and the wait was not long I played pool and darts overall I had a brilliant experience and everyone was so nice thank you to everyone that works at lanwern

So visited for mother's day. Admittedly it was very busy, they had run out of lots of things. Staff Were near impossible to get to your table. Food was mediocre at best. Probably wouldn't go again.

Nice pub diner with TV,s for sports food average but nice service was slow a great drinks choice outside seating available plus a little playground for the little ones drinks reasonably priced plus food !

Pre planned visit, however highly unlikely we'll return.Hunters chicken was as dry as a desert, like it had been under the salamander way too long, sirloin steak cooked very well done, should have been medium well, was also covered in pepper even though not stated on the menu, wife hates pepper so steak inedible.Challenged but only offered deserts, no thanks.Appreciate its a Sunday and was relatively busy, but standards should still be maintained.
