Very friendly staff, can’t thank Alice, Paul and Karen enough! They made our few days away memorable, the kids still talk about them ? can’t wait to go back at Christmas.

Staying at the Premier Inn so ate here. The menu had plenty of options for a reasonable price - especially with NHS discount! The food arrived in good time and was nice and tasty. Not the biggest meals, but enough. There was a slight delay in the desserts with them coming out in three separate time periods (There were 6 of us).\\n\\nThe breakfast was a bit mixed, however. The the hot breakfast buffet was fine. Well stocked and tasty. The continental section was frequently running out of items. A lot of it was of poor quality and almost appeared stale, despite being taken out of their packaging in front of us. Definitely didn’t give the impression of top quality, fresh produce.

Great pub grub and very reasonably priced

Staff at Caerphilly Crossways were very friendly but sadly the place it self is badly in need of decorating and chairs need upholstering. Dirty walls and skirting, sticky tables.. will not go back there.

Used a discount voucher. Booked a table online for the time we wanted, got it no problem. Discount code went through fine, carvery was busy (it was to be expected as we got there at 1300) but we were served eventually. Meats were all cooked very well and accompanying veg was of good quality. Mint sauce was running low though!! All in all I would visit again.Parking: Not many parking spaces left, but it was 1300 on a Sunday afternoon so was to be expected really.

Great place for a family gathering. Children have the play area which is great. Good selection of food and a choice of carvery or food from the menu. Reasonably priced. The only reason I haven't put 5 stars is that my food and sundae were a little under par. Other party members were happy with theirs though. Overall, a winner!

I recently visited your restaurant for mothers day. It was abit of a surprise from my family. The food was amazing, taste and portions were perfect and staff were fabulous. Nothing was too much for them. Definitely recommend and would visit again soon.

If I could put 0 stars I would, I can say for certain I won’t be coming here again. I spent 4 weeks at the premier inn in crossways for work, so had a voucher for food each night here.On the menu it states if you’d like to enjoy your food in your room to let your server know, however they seem completely incapable of doing this and bought my food out on plates each times, expecting me to carry 3/4 plates and drinks back up to my room. On most occasions when going back to the kitchen to put them into takeaway boxes, I would be made to wait a further 10 minutes. How does it take 10 minutes to put food from a plate into a box? Most staff are rude, I could hear them complaining and talking about me from the bar. I’m not asking much, just put the food in a box, I asked each time before ordering and was told this is fine. Baffling.Food was okay, some things better then others but in general it was nice food for a fair price, however the whole experience was just hassle from start to finish and I often didn’t bother spending the voucher because it just wasn’t worth the hassle. Shambles.

Food is mediocre. Server bringing food and collecting empty plates etc was pleasant and provided a reasonable service. The order takers and bar staff were very very slow, regardless of how many customers were waiting (it was not busy) they moved at a snails pace and there were constant queues. The gents toilets were flooded, and the ladies only had one usable wc.But the icing on the cake was the fact that they had run out of gas so that there were no draft drinks available. For such a large chain, the experience was unacceptably poor.

This place is shocking. Second time we've visited. Both times my children have been ill. Dropped a toy and the state on the actual carpet is foul. Sticky tables even though I witnessed it being wiped. The service was awful , wrong meal, refill dispenser tasted odd. Food was cold and we waited 80 mins for it. The children's toilets were out of order so all the kids were running in and out of the ladies without shoes. Took my daughter in to use the loo and the floor was soaking with what who knows. Would not recommend. No idea how they have a food hygiene rating of 4.

Staff friendly and helpful. Had to send some food back as it wasn't very warm but ok once heated up. Had a 30 minutes wait for desserts to arrive which was disappointing , otherwise would have given a higher score.

Quite expensive for a very standard breakfast. Paid just over £10 which in this area would have bought a slap up breakfast. I've been to a few pubs attached to a Premier Inn and the breakfast selection has been much better
