During the day, the upstairs has a trendy coffee shop vibe in one half, and a more taproom, pub-like vibe in the other... Downstairs there's a games room and a very pleasant walled garden area that you can lose yourself in on a sunny afternoon.Decent beers, always at least a couple of casks, (and not all overhopped "crafty" beers, either) and some decent ciders.There's something for everyone, as long you don't mind being surrounded by dozens of (perfectly well-behaved) 20 year olds.”

“Golf Fang is one of Cardiff's newest crazy golf courses but with a twist! Its an 18+ themed course with loads of adult themed areas that are truly hillarious.I'll admit there are quite a few crazy golf courses in Cardiff right now but this one sticks out above the rest! The service was also excellent with staff regularly checking in with you at different holes to bring you drinks and there's a QR code to scan if no one is around.There's a lengthy list of cocktails as well and the bar area alone is massive. I can easily see that being a great destination for an evening out as well.Excellent addition to Cardiff's great entertainment scene. Find it right next to Cineworld/Smoke Haus restaurant.”

“A traditional pub with plenty of character. My wife and I opted for the Sunday roast and were certainly not disappointed. Very reasonably priced, great size portion and totally delicious. Treated ourselves to pud afterwards, I had the crumble and Cath had the Eaton mess. Both plates were cleared....lovely way to finish our dining experience off. If we are up from Liverpool again we will certainly revisit. Thank you Black Griffin.”

“Have just got back from 4 days at The Coal Exchange Hotel in Cardiff for a reunion with 20 friends. We had breakfast each morning and had dinner each evening with a special Gala Dinner on the Tuesday evening. We hired the Carruthers Suite for the 4 nights. Food was excellent as was the service and the staff friendly and great. Would highly recommend the restaurant to anyone as my husband have eaten there on previous visits.
