Though a little on the pricier side but worth every penny. Best Sunday roast we have had good for veggies and meat eaters. Puddings we're banging. The dog loved its "dogs dinner". Quiet atmosphere easy to talk and hear each other inside. Lots of seating outsideFood & drinks: It is a great pub if you aren't eating. Even better if you do.
Came here for a meal. Came early to have a drink at the bar first. Plenty of seating outside, which was nice. The pub itself has a nice atmosphere, with everyone seeming to have a nice time. A lovely old Inn perched atop a beautiful hill. The lamb shank was delicious, and the only potential negative is that you have to drive some very narrow, steep and windy roads, and it can be quite hard to get parking. If you've got the energy, I'd highly recommend getting the train into Taff's Well and walking up to it.
