Service and food was ok, still prefer the coffee @ 200 degrees coffee tho x more vegan options and staff are way nicer!

My friend and I have taken to touring Cardiff coffee shops in our lunch breaks when we can, and trying to find the best coffee in Cardiff. While the goal is to give all the independents a fair shot, Nero coffee is definitely my prefered option of the big chains. The strength and flavour of the coffee compared to the other big names really stands out for me.

Lovely friendly place with good service

Smashing spot right opposite Cardiff Castle, you can sit in the window and watch the world go by. And a damn good mug of coffee.

Lush cool quiet spot for a well needed break on a very hot Bank Holiday Monday

Best quality coffee and food and relaxed welcoming atmosphere

Nice atmosphere with a range of options of both food and coffees. Reasonable prices too!

Horrible staff!!!! Popped in to get a drink only to be served by some woman who never spoke and just muttered coke is it. There was a polite chap there and he did say have a good day through gritted teeth. Both looked as though they were chewing on barbed wire.

Popped in from the rain for a mug of tea and a toasted tea cake (no jam). It hit the spot and was delicious! Service was smooth, polite and efficient.

Exactly what is says on the box, a great place for a coffee. The staff are incredibly hard working yet manage to keep a delightfully cheerful attitude with the customers.
Gentleman on counter at 7.30pm Monday 1st April was very polite and efficient with his service, it is always a pleasure to enjoy a coffee and toasted tea cake in caffe Nero.

Usually pop in here for 11am "ish" coffee whenever i visit Cardiff. Great coffee, reasonably priced for a chain. Only one, quite expensive, vegan choice, two if you include a small very expensive "cookie" bar but I don't go there for the food, i go for the coffee Nice selection of alternate 'milk', soy is free but the others have a small surcharge. Staff are knowledgeable and always friendly

I visit the UK occasionally and all the Caffe Nero's I have visited hold a great standard, you can usually tell as they are all mostly full. They all make a great coffee but my favorite is when the weather turns cold the Hot Chocolate with whipped cream.
Steff J!
Was very quiet when we visited so was easy to find a seat (though there were loads of tables. Nice to not have a cramped coffee shop) and the person that served us was very nice and chirpy.

Always great coffee, the staff were also brilliant with a great sense of humour and exceptional skills.
Thanks.
