This was my first visit to Pasture Cardiff and to say I was impressed is an understatement, I took my 86yr old mother and 29yr old daughter for food. From start to finish our experience was flawless. The Hostess Gemma that seated us was so polite and welcoming, and our server Lyn spent time and patience explaining the menu and recommending what side to go with our meal. My first time here. Wow, what a great experience! The service was excellent, our waitress was very attentive. Food arrived very quickly and got off to a great start.Then the steak arrived! Hands down the best steak I've had. Perfectly cooked and so tasty.Dessert was very good as well.I had a great time here. Book now!

Me and my partner went for a midweek christmas lunch and sadly was slightly disappointed, the service was poor, we waited nearly 20 minutes for our drinks, 40 minutes to get our starter, the steak was delicious but slightly cold and under cooked.Overall this visit was a real disappointment compared to previous visits where the food and service has been the best about.Fingers crossed, this was a one-off and not a fall off in their impeccable standards.
