I visited this lovely unique tearoom on Saturday 23rd of March, with my Mum.We had a lovely warm welcome from Lauren and her Mum.Nothing was too much trouble, the cakes, sandwiches and especially the lemon posset was absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed the experience so much, we will be back very soon to try the rest of the beautiful homemade cakes.Thank you for making Mum's belated Mothers day present so special.Alison. Lovely welcoming atmosphere and the host was very kind in lending her grandmothers hot water bottle after coming in from the cold. Super cute decoration and the service was amazing.

Absolutely beautiful place for afternoon tea. Hosts could not have been any more accommodating to me and my daughters. We were checked on repeatedly and Laura was wonderful, chatty and attentive. A sweet tea room, lots of quirky cute decor, my girls absolutely loved it. Afternoon tea we can highly recommend, all home baked cakes, unlimited tea in knitted tea cosies, and a cute little bell to ring for a tea top up. We LOVED it here. Hoping to return soon to try the breakfast and lunch! Will be uploading a little video to insta soon. Thank you Laura so very much!

The second time I've visited this lovely little tearoom in Llanishen. Both times had a warm friendly welcome and wonderful tea and cake. Very accommodating of my young children, chatting to them and providing little toys enabling me to enjoy my cake in peace! Thank you.

I visited with my daughter and baby grandson, the quirky decor makes you smile as soon as you walk in and nothing was too much trouble for the lovely friendly staff. The food was delicious; soup for my daughter and St David’s quiche for me, all fresh, tasty and generous portions. The cake afterwards was a bit overindulgent but wonderful. Highly recommend, I can’t wait to return ?

If you want to enjoy a genuine friendly welcome with prompt table service and generous portions, then the Honey Bee is for you. This is everything that a small independent tea room should be. When I visited, many of the tables were booked for lunch, which shows the popularity of this place. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area. The food (bacon sandwich) was great and the home made honey cake was delicious. Great cup of coffee too. All topped off with amazing service from Laura and all the staff. Will definitely be back.Parking: Closest car park behind churchKid-friendliness: Very good for the kids. They had children's posh tea cups (plastic thankfully) and small games to keep them entertained.
I was taken out for lunch by a maiden aunt, who seems to be a regular at this cafe. She was looking forward to having the homemade quiche, but although we were there just after noon, they had already sold out. I thought the menu choices were very poor, sandwiches, panini and baked potatoes with baked beans, I really cannot get enthusiastic over. £7.90 for leek and potato soup is an outrageous price. The other daily special was a corned beef pie, so we both ordered that. it arrived in a small white dish, the top pastry looked very flabby and soft The filling was reasonable, but had no texture, more like mushed baby food. The pastry of base and sides were RAW and completely inedible, the chips were disappointing ,soft and floppy although nicely brown . The salad was a joke, chopped iceberg, a cherry tomato cut in 3 and a trio of sweetcorn nibletts. No salad dressing it was like 1975 ! The cafe was busy, and there were plenty of staff, when we left there were 5 empty tables still cluttered with dirty crockery. The staff seemed busy chatting with regular customers. We watched one waitress deliver food to three tables without clearing the 5 dirty tables. Nobody checked on us during our hours visit. When you are taken out for lunch it is difficult to complain without upsetting your host. All in all, not a place I could recommend, probably fine for a coffee and cake, but a lazy, uninteresting menu, poor service and we left hungry.

Went here today for lunch and we hadn't booked a table and it was very busy. The owner couldn't have been more welcoming and moved tables around to fit us in. Had a toastie and chips which was gorgeous and then finished off with the Ukranian honey cake which was incredible. It was such a lovely atmosphere that I also bought an afternoon tea gift voucher for a family member whilst I was there. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the owner was lovely to talk to. We will definitely be back!

What a gem of a find. Stumbled across this beautiful independent cafe. Right from the outset we were greeted with a friendly smile. The food was all home made and delicious. it was quiet on arrival but soon filled up. Nothing was too difficult. I would definitely return when passing.

Excellent food and service; such a cool little tea room! Awesome decor, so quaint with all of the teacups and plates on the walls. Delicious yummy food and such welcoming and caring staff/owners. Don’t come here if you’re in a rush and wanting something fast, but that’s not the vibe here. Take a seat and have a cuppa and chat with your fam. Highly recommend.

Possibly my favourite spot in the UK! I went with my husband for my birthday and it was such a great experience. The food was great, the tea was perfect and the staff were the most lovely people you could ever meet. The space is so adorably decorated. I couldn’t give it a stronger recommendation.
