Cafes in Cardigan

“This is primarily a restaurant , with bar/ lounge and letting rooms. There is a good sized carpark for guests use.The family run business offers lovely food using sizzling stones to cook a great selection of fish , steaks etc at the table. The service was excellent both for dinner and breakfast. Our breakfasts were cooked to order and very good too. The breakfast is pre ordered the night before and a time slot is also arranged. Our twin room was a reasonable size and the ensuite bathroom with walk in shower was very clean , a good size with spotless towels. Some toiletries are supplied as is a hair drier. The beds were comfortable with spotless bedding. There was a fridge in the room, kettle and TV.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Caemorgan Mansion. A beautifully decorated property, furnished to a very high standard with amazing attention to detail. Our bedroom was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious each morning and Angharad and Rob were perfect hosts who made us feel very welcome.”

“First time in Cardigan and couldn't be more impressed with how cheerful and welcoming everyone is. Crwst was no exception but with the extra bonus of superb quality food. Had a full welsh on day 1 (all great, but butchers sausage and black pudding to die for!) and bacon and egg bap on day 2 while my Mrs raved about the pasties. Very friendly staff make a visit to Crwst highly recommended and I'll be tqking my own advice again tomorrow!”

“Stopped here for a quick lunch. We both had toasted sandwiches (cheese and chorizo + Brie and cranberry) - both were nice. It would have been nicer if they came with a little bit of salad as well as the crisps just for freshness. The homemade lemon drizzle cake was very good!”

“The best breakfast in Cardigan in a quirky cafe served by a wonderful team. There are second hand books to buy for a pound and dvds for two pounds.Very quickly everyone knows your name and your order. It’s like sitting at home but with better service and no washing up.I wish I could go there every day. A traditional British café and tea room at its very best.”

“Delicious breakfast! Really reasonably priced, I had the sourdough toast with smoked salmon and the portion was fantastic. The pumpkin spice latte is also very tasty!”

“What a find! We were just looking for a car park near the High Street and found this, adjacent. The fishmonger part of the business had some great stock and the restaurant couldn’t have had a better view out the window on a sunny day. Superb fish chowder.. we know where to go for an afternoon munch now, can’t wait to return to Cardigan, a great place, thriving but still with quaintness, and a good vibe. Love it!”

“This is such a lovely little coffee shop with an adjacent mini-store. English breakfast was amazing with an option for a smaller and a large option (which I think is quite rare!) The owner is also really nice. Would definitely recommend this place :)”

“Really impressed by this little place. We stopped for a take out coffee and a bit of food to keep us going during our walk around the area. I have to say the coffee especially was really good. The cafe seems to have gone out on a limb to look into more decent coffee than usual and it certainly showed. We had a bacon brie toastie and that was really good also. Packaging and coffee cup were all recyclable and it looked as though there was a conscious effort by the shop being made to having stock and provide recyclable / not plastic where possible. Great stuff.”
