Crwst, Priory St, CardiganI recently visited Crwst and it honestly exceeded expectations. The food is absolutely top-notch — everything tastes fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavour. You can tell they really care about quality.
The vibe is what makes it even better. It’s one of those places where you instantly feel relaxed — stylish but not pretentious, lively but still cosy. Perfect for a chilled brunch or catching up over coffee.
Great food, great atmosphere, and definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Sugandha Indian Restaurant Aberporth
Bancy Dyffryn, Aberporth, CardiganI am local to Aberporth and can honestly say Suganda is an absolute hidden gem. I had a large family take-away from here last week, over the Easter bank holiday - and every dish was delicious. I highly recommend eating here and would go as far as to say, they are the best Indian/Bangladesh restaurant on the west coast of wales.

2, Royal Oak, Quay St, CardiganHonestly been going to Abdul’s for years now and it never disappoints! Family run business that offers fresh traditional food that tastes AMAZING. If you order any tandoori dish when eating in it comes out on a sizzling tray that’s garnished in lemon and coriander keeping it hot and easy to share with others. Portion sizes are very generous and staff are friendly and patient, giving recommendations if you’re indecisive or what to order. Would recommend locals and visitors to try if they haven’t previously.

Ceredigion, Tresaith, CardiganWe stayed over 2 night's and it was fantastic, views from our room over looking the beach and watching the sunset are amazing! Bedrooms are lovely and spacious and have everything you need! We had food here on our 1st evening and there is so much choice to choose from, food portions are plentiful and so tasty! Hayley the manager and her team are amazing, so friendly and nothing was to much trouble! Would highly recommend to family and friends.

The food is beyond good, and the employees are incredibly hospitable, treating us like family which is so so sweet. Definitely recommend ordering from here! 50 Pendre, CardiganWe came across this place whilst we were stopping in Cardigan for a couple of nights. Absolutely superb food and customer service. I got the Cajun chicken burger and my partner got the steak both 10/10. The steak was made to order so was piping hot when it arrived. Had to wait a bit of time but I put that down to having the chicken burger, so will take longer to prepare. Definitely would come back here again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very friendly owners, lovely setting on the river and very reasonable prices. The latte was excellent too. If you're looking for simple, no nonsense delicious seafood then look no further.

Caban Mwnt
Mwnt, CardiganA wonderful spot to grab a tasty toastie, or a bacon bun, on a cold & windy day.
Every time we visit Mwnt (which is pretty often given the free National Trust parking, terrific little beach, and multiple different walks to take) we always end up grabbing a snack here. Today was yet another bacon & egg bun for me - which was nicely drippy with a runny yoke - just the way I like it.
That coupled with a warm latte helped regenerate my soul after being blown around in the wind today.
Going to miss going here in the winter and early Spring while they close for the year, but you can bet we’ll be back for more grub when they reopen again next year.

25-26 Quay St, CardiganLovely little cafe, busy but good busy. Had lunch for a family of four two kids meals and two main lunches, usual cafe fayre but all delicious. Opposite the castle and therefore convenient, no need to book but obviously may be busy at peak periods.

Llangoedmor, CardiganA lovely traditional pub with real character. The food was excellent, fresh, tasty, and great value. Service was spot on with a friendly and welcoming barman who made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, perfect for a country pub. And I have to say, the pint of Guinness was absolutely cracking, one of the best I’ve had. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

High St, Cilgerran, CardiganVisited 25th September 2023. The landlord was very friendly, and the pub was clean, tidy, and welcoming. We had a pint of Guinness and white wine, the Guinness was excellent. This pub is well worth a visit.

Finch's Square, CardiganThis is such a lovely little coffee shop with an adjacent mini-store. English breakfast was amazing with an option for a smaller and a large option (which I think is quite rare!) The owner is also really nice. Would definitely recommend this place :)

3 College Row, CardiganStumbled across this place whilst we were on holiday at Sarnau. Kids wanted fish and chips so after walking around cardigan we grabbed food from here, Queue was big (good sign) but they soon got through everyone. We then went back to the caravan. Still piping hot. Chips were the best I’ve had in years from a chip shop. Fish was lovely too. Batter was perfect. Not too thick of battery or sickly.
Was so good we returned at the end of the holiday too.

13 Pendre, CardiganNice welcome, very friendly, lovely tasty food, ham & pickle sandwiches with lovely thick ham. The chips are to die for. Lovely hot chocolate served hot too, sounds stupid but how many times I get a Luke warm drink is unreal. Definitely worth a stop and nice Cherry Bakewell slice

Flambards Hotel, Harries Terrace, Llechryd, CardiganThis is primarily a restaurant , with bar/ lounge and letting rooms. There is a good sized carpark for guests use.The family run business offers lovely food using sizzling stones to cook a great selection of fish , steaks etc at the table. The service was excellent both for dinner and breakfast. Our breakfasts were cooked to order and very good too. The breakfast is pre ordered the night before and a time slot is also arranged. Our twin room was a reasonable size and the ensuite bathroom with walk in shower was very clean , a good size with spotless towels.Some toiletries are supplied as is a hair drier. The beds were comfortable with spotless bedding. There was a fridge in the room, kettle and TV.
