Called in today. We are from Yorkshire... and hands down the best bakewell tart that he give us for free to try.. everything we ordered was fresh and amazing... I will be in every day.. don't do reviews much but had to .....

Hoping this is a one off with how bad the food was. Unfortunately it hadn't been fully cooked, had no taste and resembled what I imagine a prison lunch would be like. Had heard good things about the place and thought it would be great but it wasn't this time.

Great choice but way over priced and overrated. £7 for a baguette and packet of crisps. And the quality and portion was a joke. I was very disappointed and will not return. Do not recommend!

I'm givong this place one star because there is no option for zero stars. On first glance this looks like a lovely little deli. Great looking artisan sausage rolls and quiches in the window and lovely looking cakes. Sadly, we were hugely dissappinted with everyrhing we ordered. The bacon and sausage baguettes were awful. The bread was shop bought and part baked and had not been cooked properly, the bacon was insipid and fatty, and the sausages were cheap and unpleasant. The so called artisan sausage rolls were tasteless and cold inside (even after being microwaved) and the beef pasty was soggy and bland. Tea was from a machine and served in takeaway cups and there were no plates or cutlery offered, just a paper bag to eat from. We went upstairs to sit down and discovered dirty tables, stained carpets and a musty damp smell. It was as if we had stumbled through a portal into the 1980's. We left quite quickly and went to the Cafe Nero across the road. Don't waste your time or money here unless they change the menu, provide cups and plates and give the place a thorough clean.

The food looked lovely but the cafe was so well hidden we walked past without realising it was an eatery. The sign above the door was in Welah only; useful for the handful of people who can read it. What a pity we didn't get to try the excellent looking food.

I had a really nice beef cawl (a Welsh stew). The café is basic, with takeaway dishes and cutlery (saves on washing up) upstairs seating was cold, but staff are great and food is tasty.

Do not eat here. I had a ham salad banquette and the person behind the counter took out one stick of cucumber and one quarter of a tomato. She then proceeded to cut BOTH into 3 and that was meant to be the salad. Disgusting. Deffo not worth £4
