The Farmers Arms

We came here for dinner as we were staying in the area, we had our four legged friend with us too. The Farmers Arms was very welcoming and staff were very friendly. Food was delicious, full of flavour and reasonably priced. Dog treats and water were available and one of the staff members even gave our dog a lovely piece of meat too which he was obviously very happy with! We wouldn't hesitate returning whenever we are in the area again!

George's Fish & Chips Of St Clears

Foods always perfectly cooked, great portion sizes, service is excellent, can't recommend George's highly enough.Parking: Spaces for 6-10 on site and plenty of street parking

Tafarn Tanerdy

Had a beautiful steak today, this must be the 4th or 5th steak I’ve had here and they have all been stunning, I’ve had my steaks on a Thursday promotion £13.50 for a steak and a drink, which in my opinion is excellent value. Will be back again.

Cinnamon Indian cuisine

We had a table for four and we all ordered different foods. Chicken Kochi, vegetable biryani,butter chicken and something the chef surprised us with. Along with bombay aloo, onion bahjis and nan bread. The food was very nice and flavoursome, the waitress was attentive but not overly so. Overall, it was a great experience. The only little thing I can moan about was takeaway customers in the restaurant area and the door continuously opening and closing. I don't think it would of been wise to have a table at the front of the restaurant. Apart from this it was great and we will certainly return. We'll done to all.

Taste Of Thailand

I have just had my first lunch from the ladies here… what can I say.. an absolute winner.. food was amazing highly recommended… will be a frequent visitor from now on I have no doubt. Thank you.

West End Fish and chips

I found the West End fish and chip shop very welcoming and was very pleased with my purchase. With polite hard working staff buying my meals was easy and stress free as it was on a Friday evening. The fish was lovely, the chips were a bit scrappy but all in all I was well fed .So with great value for money it's 4 out 5 from me. Thank you West End fish and chip shop !!!

St Catherines Walk

On Thursday 29 December 2022 at 2.30pm we were fortunate enough to secure a table, thanks to the helpful young lady front of house, who was extremely efficient, professional and courteous. The young gentleman who served us was equally as efficient and pleasurable and nothing was too much trouble. Our food, which was excellent, was tasty, hot and well presented. Due to this experience, we will definitely be returning soon - Edwards

Cofio Lounge

Went here for a warm drink and chat with a friend.We sat outside which was nice as it was too busy and warm inside to sit in.My friends hot chocolate came without Marshmallows even though we requested it on the app, she said it wasn't very "chocolatey" the mug and plate was covered in the drips from the hot chocolate, the waitress took the plate away and the tray so we had nothing to put out spoons or balance our mugs on. My cup of tea was tiny more like a cappuccino/ espresso cup. I will contact the lounge and review on website too.The staff were very rushed and casual with what they were wearing such as vest tops and crop tops? Seemed a bit to casual for me.I would return there for food as I have visited lounges before and I liked this lounges outside seating.Ordered via the app as mentioned it was too busy inside.Pretty old fashioned building with modern lights and interior and decor inside.Plenty of choice on the menu from breakfast to mains to drinks. When ordering can mention any dietary needs. Prices are average. Toilets inside. Not that easy accessible for prams and wheelchairs.Dietary restrictions: Something on the menu to suit allWheelchair accessibility: Outdoor seating but no ramp / lift to get into the lounge

We visited on a rainy Saturday afternoon and the place was very quiet. Very warm welcome and very attentive waiter Theo. Was so friendly. I'm gluten free and this wasn't treated as something unusual.Service was good and food delicious.Dietary restrictions: Catered for gluten free.

Coffee#1 Carmarthen

Coffee (and hot chocolates) are always delicious and the cake is delicious. Lovely atmosphere and although a chain doesn’t feel like it. The nicest coffee shop on Carmarthen High Street, would recommend!

Carmarthen Tandoori Indian Takeaway

Fabulous food and very polite and courteous staff. 5 star hygiene rating too.The House specialities are amazing.Because of its location at the end of the run of take-aways on the street it is often over looked however I would recommend you give it a try as it really is quite superb.In fairness Carmarthen has quite a good selection of Indian take-aways but this is up there with them.

Toby Carvery Carmarthen

First visit to this toby and found it too be one of the best.Meat was so nice and the yorkies were freshly cooked and not dry. Everything else on the carvery was lovely too.Would definitely return to this one.It doesn't have its own car park, you have to park on a pay and display car park next door

Visited for my dad's birthday, the food was incredible! Only minor negative point was that the service was a bit slow. The restaurant wasn't very busy, there were only 3 other tables eating besides us, but it did take some time for food to come to us. They were training new staff at the time so that may have been a factor.Vegetarian options: With the exceptions of the chef's specials, most traditional curry options can be made vegetarian.

Caraway

On two occasions now , we have dropped in unbooked, although today they were very busy with Mothers Day, they managed to squeeze three of us in for lunch. Lovely cooked and presented food. Probably the Manager who took our order who was very courteous and efficient behind the bar . Infact all of the team was courteous and very efficient. To be fair this experience was identical to our previous visit. Excellent all around.

USA Pizza

I always order the same burger from here, some times twice in the same night that's how scrumptious it is.. I highly recommend for a dreamy taste? thank you for your service!!

I’ve been coming here for many years and it’s brilliant in every way. Everything on the Welsh and English menu is genuinely homemade with no compromise on quality, flavours and portion sizes. No trip Wales is complete without a visit to Moira and her team, even if you have a travel all the way from Slough - like my 85yr old dad! He recommends the lamb steak followed by the most divine rice pudding he’s ever eaten!

Omg.. few days away in the van and just typed in food near me.. the barmaid or owner was a lovely person.. well mannered and felt welcome even tho nit from the area.. I had surf and turf and my dad had the sirloin.. didnt even need a steak knife to cut the meat.. I will even say it was the best steak I have ever tasted and the portion was huge.. will defo go back

Morgans Traditional Chippy

After not calling in Morgan's since new owners took over due to bad reviews. We called in today to try it for ourselves instead of listening to negative reviews. Firstly the food was first class for myself and my wife. Secondly our coffees were excellent. Staff very good and friendly. This is where we will be calling more often when we visit Carmarthen just as we did before. Best chip shop in Carmarthen without a doubt. Well done to the owners for keeping Morgan's going it's nice that some things don't get ruined. Definitely worth visiting.

Coracle Fish Bar

I started visiting The Coracle decades ago, when I was a student at Dyfed College of Art. I haven't lived in Carmarthen since then, but whenever I'm in the area I call at The Coracle. I was there at lunchtime on 17/10/2023, and I was served by the most delightful lady. The steak and kidney pie was quite possibly the best I've ever had, incredibly meaty. I'll definitely continue my tradition of visiting The Coracle, it's the best chip shop I know of.

Oriental Garden

We always enjoy their lovely Salt & Chilli Chicken Dry, Chicken Fried Rice, Seet & Sour Chicken Balls in Batter - or any of the Chow Mein dishes. Kind staff always try and go the extra mile.This place gets so busy on weekends, they get absolutely inundated, so plan your order ahead of time to avoid lengthy waits outside the shop.Cash only for orders below £20.Vegetarian options: Vegetable dishes are nice here too, though they do remind customers that dishes can be prepared along with shellfish.

The Point Cafe

My type of place. Proper Cafe atmosphere, right next to a cracking view of Pendine. Food very reasonably priced and for good portions. Table service too, with the choice to sit in or take away. Definitely recommend and would go again.

Waverley Stores and Vegetarian Restaurant

As a non-vegetarian, i.e., dead animal flesh-eating local, I just popped in for a snack on a Saturday in June. (They do a special breakfast menu on Saturdays - "until the food runs out") The quality was excellent, so good that I didn't even hanker for a bacon sandwich afterwards... Highly recommended.

The Vaults

We popped in for a quick bite to eat. The Vaults is a lovely place, great atmosphere and food. Staff are brilliant. Friendly and professional.We had the sharing tapas menu of 2 tapas +a side for £16. It was delicious, the quality of food was great, and it was very enjoyable.Our only complaint was that the tapas only had 3 pieces of bread and 3 of the meat. Could have done with 4 of each to be a true sharing tapas, but meh. Otherwise, fab.

The Black Ox

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their Christmas food, all starters, mains and desserts were excellent. Great presentation and very tasty, I had the turkey and trimmings and the Baileys cheesecake, have no complaints. The staff were attentive and very friendly, thank you.

I think it's a fabulous chip shop the service is always good and the food is excellent I've tried lots on the menu and taken recommendations from staff if they don't have my choice and I've never been disappointed the staff are always polite and friendly especially Charlotte and Rebecca they are both always really good and an asset to your business ?
