The staff were really friendly and helpful, by no mistake. Unfortunately the whole place needs some serious tlc. We went there as CLC owners, we stayed on Gower 3, avoid this lodge if you can, it obviously is a three person lodge adapted to fit four. The single room has the double bed and the double room has two singles. the double room is just so cramped that there is no room for bedside tables. I would say that the bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. The whole lodge is stuck somewhere in the 80's, all appliances were servicable, however very old and I suspect very inefficient, especially the fridge/freezer, which was very noisey. Would I go back? probably, but not in the same lodge and hope for the best.

Peaceful retreat with log cabins the grounds are beautiful with lots of history . On site swimming pool and gym / sauna bar in the main building with pool and snooker tables great for old and young would definitely recommend

Despite the obvious need for reinvestment, Pantglas Hall still offers visitors an appealing holiday prospect, with its charming location and access to numerous nearby attractions. Set within spacious and peaceful gardens, the wooden cabins offer comfortable accommodation and a full range of equipment and facilities, including TV and free wifi. The kitchen appliances are dated but serviceable, as is the furniture, but the beds are comfortable and the storage space plentiful. There are a number of amenities on the site, including an excellent and sizeable indoor pool. The Bistro os always open for meals and includes a helpful takeaway service. This is a resort I would be happy to return to.

We have just stayed here at Button lodge for 3 nights for a short half term break. Lodge is very comfortable and warm. Fully equipped with all you need and was lovely and cozy. Cannot fault this place, it’s quiet, peaceful and surrounded by stunning beautiful countryside! We used the pool, tennis courts and playground all brilliant and pool areas clean and warm. The pool attendants were lovely and friendly. The cafe and bar was perfectly stocked and food was good and reasonably priced. Staff we met were friendly and helpful. We took the food back to the lodge on a couple of occasions and nothing was too much trouble. Visited a couple of nearby towns and were just wowed by the scenery. Would definitely recommend and we will be back again soon.

We arrived really late due to traffic, however rather than being grumpy, they were lovely and even made us food. The cabin was lovely, well stocked and warm. The pool and jacuzzi were also welcome as our visit was in January. The restaurant was not open, however it was not a problem as we had food in the cafe, which has recently been refurbished.

The Sunday lunch was superb as always. The staff are great and so helpful. We are also owners and travel for Sunday lunch when we can. Would recommend it to everyone.

Pantglas Hall is a hidden gem in the wonderful Carmarthenshire countryside but yet convenient for most of the tourist attractions and shopping centres in the area. We took our family there for a fortnight over the Christmas period. The drive to Pantglas Hall itself is beautiful with rolling fields and hills and a river rushing down the valley. Once there you get a glimpse of the splendour of the surroundings with some of the old buildings from the former hall still standing. There is ample parking near reception. When we arrived we were met by friendly and helpful staff who gave us all the information we needed for our stay. It was late when we arrived and they made sure we were asked if we needed anything like groceries. They even made a meal we took back to our chalet. We caught our first glimpse of the chalet with its pretty architecture and twinkling lights. The heating was on and so it was lovely and warm. After a long day we just wanted to relax and the peace and quiet was just what we needed. All the facilities in the chalet were modern and clean and easy to use. From the TV to the washing machine and tumble dryer to the abundance of lighting and the fresh bedding and towels. We were all impressed with the quality of the interior. Our family consisted of two older boys and a young daughter. The fact that there was a pool on site was not lost on them and they were eager to visit and swim. The older boys also made use of the sauna and the jacuzzi while my daughter also enjoyed playing crazy golf and snooker. You really are spoilt for choice for activities including wonderful walks around the estate to take in the local wildlife. One could hear a pin drop at night interrupted only by the hoots of owls. It was wonderful to just open the curtains and look out onto such beautiful countryside. If one feels like a trip out there is the village of Llanfynydd, which is a stone's throw away with an oldy world pub. There is also the village of Pontargothi which boasts two oldy world pubs. Carmarthen Town has plenty of big brand name shops and a wonderful market. It also has a cinema. There really was nothing we could find fault with during our stay other than the two weeks went by too quickly. The verdict from every member of the family was unanimous. This was a five star break with great service. We left feeling revived and relaxed and we look forward to our next holiday at Pantglas Hall.Alan Evans and Angharad Evans

Friendly welcome from reception staff on a freezing winter evening. Chalet is cosy and clean with wood burner. Swimming pool was great.

We had a 2 bedroom lodge with a spacious kitchen and living room with a fireplace. There was coal and some wood given for the fire - just had to buy the firelighter and matches. There was a fixed charge for electricity so the cottage was quite warm. The staff was friendly and very helpful when there were some missing items in the kitchen. The not so good was that the cleanliness in the kitchen was not so good. Had to wash the pots and pans. But overall ok stay.

We had a very comfortable week’s holiday at this timeshare resort. The lodge was well furnished, well equipped, warm and comfortable. A few of the pots and pans and wine glasses we well as the grill were not cleaned well and we had to clean them again. There was launders on site. A bonus was the fireplace although we had to buy matches and fire lighters which used to be provided free in the past. The coal, logs and kindling were included in the GBP 45 pound utility charge for the 2 bedroom lodge, sleeping 6 people. There is also a health club on site.

Stopped in for Sunday lunch and the whole experience was amazing. The food was delicious, with crispy roast potatoes and fluffy yorkies. However, the stand out was the server, who was very friendly whilst also remaining professional. I will be making this a regular eatery. Can’t recommend enough.
