Beautiful pub with very friendly service and excellent food but when you go here, make sure you're hungry because the portions are huge! Next time we're in the area we'll happily come back again.
Been staying at the Old School Barn opp pub since Saturday 28/05/2022 ( 2nd visit this year) What can I say We have visited the pub 3 times so far and going again this evening on our last night. George and his team go out of their way to welcome us Trying different meals each time They welcome our 2 spaniels even gave them left overs from Sunday roasts I’m Welsh myself and love being back here George even recognised us in Carmarthen and on daily wood walks. We’ve been twice to the forest arms & will definitely return. My wife had the fish pie with fresh cooked veg & I had the fish cakes.Both homemade, simple & delicious.I had bread & butter pudding for dessert that was outstanding & we both had a really good pint of IPA. The slightest criticism would be on both occasions the barmaid was fairly abrupt but not enough to spoil terrific food.
