Wow what can I say I am so impressed by everything. Went here for my birthday on 17 March. I have multiple allergies and food intolerances so was nervous about going out to eat at a new restuarant. My husband booked via email and was emailed back a couple of times by Rachel about my diet. On the day Rachel and Dan had worked out a menu especially for my needs. I had the most amazing Sunday lunch. I was able to have mashed potato in a restuarant. I have not been able to do that for years. The food was amazing so nicely presented and lots of it. No attention to detail was left out. Thank you for a great birthday meal. We will definitely be back and will recomend to others.

We visited on Sunday 17th for my mother’s birthday, she has some dietary requirements and was really well taken care of. Nothing was too much trouble.The food was excellent as was the service I would thoroughly recommend and will definitely go again.

Outstanding food!Beautiful restaurant and so lovely that you are not ushered out like other restaurants after a certain time. You feel that you are completely focused on for the evening and given full attention.We went as a team from work and the food was out of this world!I can't wait to come back again and bring other family and friends.The atmosphere was wonderful, warm and welcoming.Thank you so much Dan and Rachel x

We had heard great things about this restaurant and as we were staying in Carmarthen for a few days booked a table via email with Rachel the owner. We had a wonderful meal, great choice of dishes on offer, struggled to choose! Rachel and the other lady serving us were friendly and very professional. Great value meal for what was on offer and the wine was excellent too. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the belly pork. Lovely atmosphere, warm and cosy and tastefully decorated. Definitely recommend eating here to anyone wouldn't eat anywhere else. Next time we are in Carmarthen we will be booking a table again.

I recently dined at The New Curiosity with my wife and team from work and we had an exceptional experience. We all indulged in the 3-courses and each dish was simply amazing. The quality of the food was top-notch, and I was impressed by the flavors and presentation of each course.The staff at The New Curiosity were outstanding. Especially Rachel the owner and Manager, we found her to be very attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout the meal. The professionalism and hospitality added to the overall dining experience. You could see they truly cared for their customers and wanted to make sure they had a good experience. We even go to meet Dan the owner and chef at the end of the night, which was lovely and he sat and spoke with us telling us all of his stories from when he started and how he became a chef.What stood out to me the most was the reasonable pricing for such high-quality food. The value for money at The New Curiosity is truly remarkable, considering the level of culinary excellence and service provided.Overall, I highly recommend The New Curiosity to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience with delicious food, exceptional service, and great value. It is definitely worth a visit!

I have just had Sunday lunch at this exceptional restaurant. As soon as I walked in I felt the warmth from the fire and was calmed by the tasteful decoration. The waitresses were courteous and efficient, and my meal arrived in a timely manner. I had chosen to have the main course only - roast chicken with no fewer than five vegetables (broccoli, carrots, red cabbage, swede and sprouts) and gravy. The meal not only looked bright and colourful, but also tasted delicious.

Absolutely amazing! Booked our table via email with Rachel and the communication was swift and easy. The food on the night was spectacular. The menu had enough variety without being overly complicated with options. The service and atmosphere were fantastic and it helped make my partners birthday even more special for her. First class restaurant and I would highly recommend.

Restaurant came highly recommended by work colleagues. And it certainly was a treat. Enjoyed a warm welcome from a friendly member of staff. Service was fluent and relaxed with no rush on the customer whatsoever. The food was exeptional. Cooked to perfection, it looked like a picture and flavours that I can't stop thinking about. The pork belly with quince apple sauce and crackling has got me hooked. My new favourite restaurant and I will be travelling from Bridgend to Carmarthen on a regular basis! What I couldn't believe is the fact that the chef works alone, and turning out the calibre of food individually deserves every accolade he gets - truly fantastic!

A group of 8 of us met up for the Christmas menu and everyone had a great meal. It was like home made but much much much better. Rachel made sure the booking and the evening went well and we were not rushed in any way. The highlight for some was the Christmas pudding but for me the turkey dinner. You have now set the bar. Thanks to the chef and I wish you and your team every success and hope to visit again early in the New Year. Diolch x
