'Nice Spoons' a review says, & I'd agree . First local pub I tried wasn't serving food ( "stopped at 3") so next choice was here:Toilets clean, pub cool & spacious, offered chance to try an IPA, chose steak & Mediterranean salad & not disappointed.Beer pleasant & ( ok I was hungry!) Steak very succulent, cooked as I requested & salad tasty. So I'm a happy customer & happy to visit again . Thanks :)

Popped in on Tuesday evening for a meal I had the steak and it was delicious. In fact it was the best meal I have ever had in any of the Wetherspoons we have been in. The steak was cooked to perfection we have been to some restaurants and paid triple the price and it was nowhere has goodWe will be

One of the best Spoons I've been to. Calm and relaxing. Very pretty. Food as everywhere else. I wish for more healthy options. Less deep fries and processed foods.

We went there with the family and it was a nice place. Price wasn't bad. But the food could have an improvement. The place is alright but it's not sanitary and is not great at doing food. Aslong as they fix those two main things they can get to food standards

A nice large Spoons with ample seating in different zones with varied decor and seating styles.Service was great and the food came quickly enough. As it was for breakfast I didnt have time to rate the beer. This also probably holds a record for short walks to the toilet from the bar!

We love a Wetherspoons and this one was like our local one. Easy to order via the app, prompt friendly service and the food was piping hot and delicious.

First time here before leaving our trip to Chepstow Wales/ Gloucestershire. Food was lovely, came here for some breakfast before driving home. My boyfriend’s poached eggs were perfect and runny in the inside how he likes them. Service was quick and polite. The toilets were clean and spacious. Love the decor and fireplace. I’m now thinking that what is wrong with the Wetherspoons near me and to move to Chepstow to have a better local. If I was in the area I’d go again ! ?.Parking: Back entrance is right opposite a car park where the first two hours on a Sunday is free.

Hands down the worst Wetherspoons we’ve ever visited. We chose the venue for a quick meal before finding our hotel and said “you can’t go wrong with a Wetherspoons” today we realised you can go diabolically wrong with a Wetherspoons! Disgusting food and rude staff and manager who snatched our plates without asking how it was just said “you finished” aggressively grabbed our plates and marched off. Please avoid if you don’t want to feel sick and like you’ve wasted money. Even the coke didn’t taste like it should and stay away from the chicken burger! Quality is lowest of the low. Feel like I need a good wash just being there for 30mins

Ordered a breakfast went to the loo. No loo roll in any of the cubicles after I’d been. Had to ask staff. By the time I’d got back to table the food had arrived and sea gulls eaten breakfast. No offer of another one or apology for the loo roll situation. Poor experience.

Inept barman became incredibly aggressive when I challenged him as to why he was shouting at me when I merely asked if he had made a simple mistake. Why ever would anyone employ this person.

Stopped off here on a rainy day on our way to Chepstow Castle. Average wetherspoons, busy but quick and easy food which was hot and tasted good.

Would highly recommend this place. We were very impressed with the politeness and efficiency of the staff there. The food we had was top quality, and great value for money. A notably clean venue aswell.

Good food at a reasonable price. Did not give 5 stars as the the ketchup bottles and mayonnaise plastic bottles had not been cleaned on the outside and were not nice. If you want well cooked food at a reasonable price then it's very good, large menu choice also has vegetarian and vegan options. Coffee and tea as with all witherspoons are unlimited. The miners breakfast was very nice with the eggs poached perfectly.

Lovely, big pub, but still manages to be cosy and welcoming. I've always found food at Wetherspoons to be good value for money and here was no exception. Always worth taking advantage of the bottomless refills on tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Service was friendly and food arrived very quickly. Some great offers on Coors, Stowford Cider and Guiness!
