Panevino Italian Restaurant

We’ve now visited Panevino twice - the first time in November 2025 while we were staying in Chepstow, and the second time in February this year. In fact, on our second visit we enjoyed it so much the first time that we actually booked the restaurant before we even booked a hotel for our stay in the area!

Both visits were fantastic. The restaurant itself is lovely with a really welcoming atmosphere, the service from the staff was excellent, and the food was absolutely amazing on both occasions.
It’s clearly a place that cares about both the quality of the food and the experience for guests. We’ll definitely be returning again in the future and would highly recommend Panevino to anyone visiting Chepstow.

The Two Rivers at Chepstow

It’s the staff at the two rivers that make me want to come back. The atmosphere is second to none. I have been a regular here since September . I won’t go anywhere else

Stone Rock Pizza

Food was fantastic, service was excellent even though it was quite busy given that a lot of people were in town. Thank you so much to Emma and Olivia especially for giving such great service. Shoutout to the chefs for the great margarita and diavola. My friend and I enjoyed it so much could not be more pleased :)))

Piercefield

Went on a Race day parked our camper in the car park which free.
All we had to do was buy a meal which was lovely.The staff couldn’t do enough for us.
Even had a lift to the racecourse as it was raining.

Greggs

After visiting the castle and lovely town of Chepstow we decided to visut a Small Greggs store on the High Street. The lady Julia was so pleasant and attentive swiftly dealt with my order. The cheese and onion rolls and bakes were to die for. Gotta love a Greggs

Chepstow Kebab House

Food quality here is of a very high standard, as is the cleanliness of the establishment. Staff are friendly and delivery times are quick. Their kebabs and pizzas are the best in the area. You won't be disappointed!

Domino's Pizza - Chepstow

Big shout out to the Dominos at Chepstow. Ordered a last minute order for 25 pizzas which was ready in the time it took us to drive the 20 minutes from where we were staying... Great work!! thank you!

Marmalade House Cafe and Tea Rooms

The atmosphere is perfect, calm, friendly with excellent service.
The soup was perfectly tasty and well seasoned. The milkshake ordered was chocolate / peanut butter, a variation on what is on the menu, made to please and please it did.
The menu has many tasty options that make you want to come back to try them out.
Highly recommend!
Have tea or a full meal but spend some time here.

The Riverside

My favourite place in Chep always great atmosphere and food especially with the live music . Staff are super friendly and service always spot on . Definitely recommend popping in ?

The Anchor Inn

Had a brilliant carvery here on Saturday (yes they do them on Saturday as well as Sunday. Great selection of meats, all very tasty with the usual trimmings you would expect which were all of high quality. Friendly staff and busy atmosphere. Would recommend!

Millers Arms

Booked a table here last minute for my friends birthday and from start to finish was absolutely fantastic. The food was incredible, the staff were lovely and even came through with a request from myself to pop a candle in my friends dessert. The price was such good value for money aswell considering how incredible the food was. Def recommend and will most def be coming back

Chatterbox Coffee Shop

Well what can I say except wow the attitude of one member of staff and the manager was awful and made my friend who has dietary requirements feel embarrassed and was so rude to her and it made us feel really uncomfortable

Firstclass Cafe

Absolutely Incredible. I was passing through and was searching for somewhere that done good café food and found this gem. I can't recommend enough. The food was amazing, quality and quantity! And really value for money. Service was incredible and cheerful. If you're looking for a place to grab breakfast or lunch, you must try here.

The Sitar Balti

Food was amazing and delicious. Service was very kind and perfectly timed, didn’t feel rushed or overbearing. I loved the atmosphere, it was mine and my partners first time here and we will definitely be back! Perfect place for a date night.

The Boat Inn

We had lunch at the Boat Inn and the food was delicious! It’s a lovely pub with views of the river, exceptional food and very good service! Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Chepstow.

Wonderfood Chinese Takeaway

Our favourite takeaway! ? The food is always great - a wide selection, very tasty, big portions and prepared quickly - and very good prices too!

Plus, everyone who works there is always so friendly, the customer service is fantastic - we wouldn’t go anywhere else! Thank you Wonderfood ??

Costa Coffee

Large bright and airy, that sums this place up really.
Great disabled access too.
Excellent staff very friendly and welcoming.
Lots of indoor seating. The food is not very much more than Greggs price wise but way better quality you can't go wrong.

Vegetarian options: Limited choice on sandwiches for veggie options unfortunately but what they do have is great quality so don't be put off

Parking: No on street parking in Chepstow high street as it is a no parking zone and this includes blue badge holders so do not get caught out
Two pay and display car parks a couple of minutes walk away free when displaying a blue badge

Wheelchair accessibility: Level flat entrance Chepstow high street is on a slope. No parking on street and that includes blue badge holders the council regularly ticket here without exception.

Kings Head Chepstow

Was a lovely room , brilliant location, friendly land lady.
Was spotless and very large.
It could do with a fridge as I bought milk and went off in warm weather. Also there was a toaster and microwave but could do with more kitchen equipment as I'd have bought eggs ect at Poundland opposite

Parsons Bakery

Very nice friendly patient staff I did cause a queue with my non decision making. Meal deal is amazing baggete cake drink. Pasties are the real non fake type unlike Greggs mash ups. My daughter is vegetarian and she really enjoyed vegetarian sausage roll yummy. Coffee also was great my other daughter had iced tea and loved that too

Umut Pizza & Kebab House

Kibby's Fish and Chip Shop

Perfect fish and chips
Std cod was large white and succulent, batter was golden and crisp all the way to the fish
Chips were perfectly cooked from a potato variety that added a pleasant sweetness , spotlessly clean with pleasant friendly staff . Price was £12 and considering the quality was a bargain

SPAR Sedbury

Handy local convenience store with comparable prices, well stocked and friendly team members. It's kept clean and there is parking to the side. It's close to a school, so may be busy at lunchtime and home time so keep that in mind if visiting.

Golden Fish Bar

You know what I love about British culture is when a chippy became a Chinese, we’ve not got many like this up in the midlands but I must say, it pretty good.

My staples are pretty decent the usual that’s hard to mess up, if you’re efficient with your communication the owners are lovely, bonus they take card, wasn’t expecting that considering how remote it is here (coming from a city boy)

Gonna be honest it’s a banging little food spot, depending on the day depending on the service, but quality is decent and actually really cheap, like trust me if you’re a local I wanna say as an outsider, jeez that’s cheap, not the cheapest granted but appreciated for sure.

To say it’s a bit dated now, it’s still holding up and doesn’t give me any suspicious vibes of hygiene issues, in fact one day when I came just as it was opening I could smell the sweet air of good cleaning, which is something I’m worried about when trying a new place, so bravo you’ve passed the autistic person’s QA

Overall, decent plus it’s next door to Tesco and B&M.

They certainly did us proud and the food was top notch, thankyou!!!!
