Adventure before dementia

We booked here for Christmas Dinner the staff were great right from the initial pre order of the menu right through the meal.

Give the place another go for Christmas dinner and was a much better experience all round this time around, the carvery option was so much better than the table service option a few years

It's just cheap & cheerful. Dirty, sticky tables. Not many staff around to ask for help. There was vomit in the washbasin in the men's toilets. We had to swap one of the chairs at our table as it was soaked when we arrived.Always busy though, food is cheaply priced.

Lovely pre-Christmas, Christmas dinner with family. Delicious. Fantastic cauliflower cheese! Clean plates all round. Good value for money.

Carvery is alright, typical dried out meat, wet veg and lukewarm everything. Toilets need more attention and all the menus were covered in something sticky. And not in a good way.

Friendly staff. Meal was cooked to perfection. I ordered the 8oz rump steak (rare) served with chips in skins, peas, tomato and onion rings. All food was served hot and tasted great! Steak was tasty, succulent (no fat or gristle) Best place I found for Steak dinner.Parking: Free parking for 3 hours.

Waited 10 mins for staff member to arrive at booking point. Was told to sit anywhere even though we booked a table. Whan ordering meal and drink at bar staff staff member was boarding on rude. Meal eventually arrived - Christmas meal 2 courses. It was ok carvery far better. We the waited over 20 mins for plates to be removed and that was only as we asked for our desert rude and tried to ignore us. Bought wrong desert no apologies just walked away. It's wasnt that busy. Eat there on a regular basis for Sunday carvery won't be back. HOSPITALITY is hard but especially this time of year but felt like an inconvenience. It took 1hr 40 mins to eat 2 courses. Hopefully this is just a bad dayDietary restrictions: N/aParking: FineKid-friendliness: NaWheelchair accessibility: Na

We went here as a group of 7 adults and 1 child on a Sunday. The table was booked a week beforehand. The que was long at midday, which I thought showed the place was good. How wrong was I?!We paid for our meal, a carvery. The choice was the usual gammon, turkey and beef and unlimited veg.The choice of veg was hard roast parsnips, undercooked roast spuds, luke warm peas, lobby ( very slushy) mashed carrot and mash which was actually nice.By the time we got to our table ,the food was barely warm and not enjoyable to eat.The ladies ' toilet was awful I wish I had my phone on me to take a photo of the radiator and sink. Words can't describe it.The staff were friendly but the place itself , we won't be going back.

From entering it felt cold dark & musky smelling, however we had been before & it was lovely. Lady that served us at till was very rushed but pleasant. However when our food arrived dry chips a meant to be well cooked upgraded gammon I sent it back but it came back the same with an attitude from waitress. From our experience it will be the last visit to this Premier Inn (table table)

I arrived around 4pm, the restaurant wasn't busy, notice said take a seat and order at the bar, we headed to find a table before a staff member stopped us asking if we had booked a table, I advised I hadn't, staff member insisted on checking the reservations, advising it was busy, yet there were few people at tables, and it remained quite during our visit, did notice two tables with reserved notices, wasn't sure why there was a need to check as it was obviously quiet. The meal was ordered, had the festive burger, which was really nice, I wasn't impressed with the chips, they were warm and didn't seem fresh, followed my meal with the after eight ice cream sundae, really enjoyable, plus gave me brain freeze.Staff were attentive throughout the service, will probably visit again sometime.Parking: It's free parking for up to three hours, I had to check this with staff as there is no signage at the door, I was worried if there was a need to register my car registration, apparently not.

We were a chaotic booking - and in the end around a third of those booked in didn't show up. However, the staff were still patient and amazing (especially Becca), the food was delicious, and the evening was great fun. Would absolutely recommend as a first class place to book for a meal - especially for a group, like us!

We all went here after my mums funeral today. Staff were lovely and helped us with anything that we needed. Food was ok but some things could have been a big better. Although certainly nothing to complain about.Kid-friendliness: Great with the kids. Colouring things provided to entertain themWheelchair accessibility: Some parts had stairs and was not accessible in a wheelchair. Though alot of the pub was easily accessible

The food was ok but the service!!!!Shockingly sloppy barman, came across as pretty much disinterested and threw scrap across the bar. Waiting staff seemed ok but we imagine any positivity is undermined by this guy who seemed to be in charge. We use Brewer Fayer at home and the staff are great...not at all like this branch. Won't rush back.Parking: Three hours free but you need to remember to validate your car as a customer. Wasn't working when we were there so was free anyway.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp access

We visit quite often as always found the food to be nice and good value. Having allergies I'm quite picky on where I trust for gluten free but I've never had an issue here and always felt satisfied that my meal had been prepared safelyDietary restrictions: Great for dietary restrictions, very knowledgeable about ingredients and had an allergy folder readily available

After visiting this venue tonight (03/11/23) I felt like I had to leave a review. We were served by a lovely, well mannered lady called Bethan, nothing was too much trouble, she asked us about food allergies and advised us accordingly due to my partner's wheat/gluten allergy.Throughout our visit I could hear her with the customers (we were sat opposite the till) and this continued with everyone , wishing people a 'good evening' and making sure that everything was ok regarding the food etc.We will most definitely be visiting again, and hopefully we'll have the pleasure of being served by Bethan again, her customer skills were second to none ???Dietary restrictions: Smothered chicken is gluten free as long as you don't have any garlic bread with it
