Absolutely love this restaurant, we're regulars for a reason! The food is delicious, full of flavour and never disappoints. Our number one choice when deciding where to eat.

Highly recommend. Great food and atmosphere. Thanks to Elerie and her team for making us feel very welcome on our last day in Wales. We’ll visit again.

Great service and food upstairs. Couldn't complement the restaurant more for their excellent meals. Fritto misto, Lasagne, and the Plaice dishes outstanding.

We had booked a week in advance and glad we did. Very popular place. Good choice of starters and mains. We had four different meals, all excellent. Plenty of staff but a bit young and uninterested certainly when asked about the different desserts. Would go again as food very tasty.

Visited here with a group of 8 friends when staying in Rhos on sea. Great service, lovely chef and unbelievable for the money. Starters, mains, sides and wine all for 30 per head. Huge portions and very busy for a Saturday night in Jan. Will definitely visit again on our next trip.

Louise was amazing along with her staff, had a 60th party here food was delicious and staff attentive, allowed us after hours to stay for our taxi. Amazing ?Kid-friendliness: Staff were brilliant with young family members

I had the most amazing 60th birthday meal at this fabulous restaurant on Saturday. Our party was rather large (22) but the restaurant did a fantastic job at seating us all together. The staff were attentive, organised and extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food was out of this world - freshly cooked, generous portion sizes and extremely tasty. All of the dishes were served promptly , piping hot and as ordered- no mean feat for such a large party. I cannot thank the owners, Gary and Angela, enough. Also a massive thank you to all the staff - especially the chef and waitress Louise. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly be returning. Well done La Dolce Vita! ???Kid-friendliness: The staff were great with the kids.Dietary restrictions: One of my grandchildren required a dairy free diet. This was kindly addressed.

Have been wanting to eat at la dolce vita since I moved to rhos on sea in February. My daughter came to visit so booked a table for a Friday night at 6.30What a massive disappointmentAsked for none alcoholic wine ,or beer as I do not drink but was told they sold nothing you can have a coke was the answerWe then went on to order the food we ordered garlic bread for 4 of us however only 2 slices came. We therefore had to order more which didn't come until we had finished our starters. My starter the mushrooms in white wine with garlic was more like mushroom soup, the soup of the day tomatoe and basil no flavour, prawns in garlic and the goats cheese starter where ok we all had a try of each other's as we all just wanting to eat something tasty.Pizza was tasty. The cannelloni and my daughter's carbonara had no taste at all bland is all that comes to mind how can you make a poor carbonara and spinach and ricotta cannelloniWe did say something to the staff when they came to clear the table after we asked them to take some plates as we could not move on the table to sit and have a coffee and a good catch up which we did at home as we where not asked if we wanted coffee or an other drink to think about it.Would not recommend if you want nice Italian food look for some place else or stick to Pizza safe bet.Very disappointed.

Staff had to be reminded as desserts finished before one wine was brought however meals were tasty hot generous. Seating not great table for 7 not much room. Would return but possibly book earlier & ask to be seated downstairs.Parking: Daytime parking is difficult but this was evening.

The starters were good, cant'do much wrong with soup and my girlfriend enjoyed the Fritto Misto However we had the filet specials Filetto La Dolce and Filetto Rossini. The Rossini was so tough i had to hack at iti thought the steak knife was blunt, needed a chainsaw, left half as it was too tough, sause and veg poor i can cook better. My girlfriend enjoy the veg ect but had to leave half the filet as it also was so tough and inedible. When the waitress cleared the plates she asked if everything was ok, i told her the steaks were too tough, she came back and said'the chef says sorry' An decent chef would have come to our table and spoken to us. We asked for the dessert list but they took an age to bring it, by then we had lost any interest and just wanted to leave. Therefore i rate the service as bad. I would have NOT PAID for the mains but my gilrfriend did not want a fuss and just wanted to go. We have eaten in other Italian's for the last 4 weekend and rate this as the poorest. I will make a point to past on my comments to all my friends and family who live locally to avoid and choose any of the other excellennt Italian's near by.

Uncomfortable table at the top of the stairs, very dated environment, Lasagne was inedible, overly salted and sloppy, spinach and ricotta canilloni had whole olives in it.. and big chunks of tomato and peppers, really odd combination that just didn't work ?. The pasta wasn't cooked properly and the sauce was sloppy. It was extremely hot temperature wise. The other 2 meals were alright.Such a shame, this used to be a wonderful restaurant but we won't be going again any time soon.Wonderful staff though I have to say ?

We stayed locally for a few nights and spent 2 evenings eating dinner at the La Dolce Vita, the staff are so friendly and attentive and the food is tasty and freshly cooked, if you are looking for somewhere to dine in Rhos on Sea you'd be missing a trick if you don't give this place a whirl
