Shelves are always half empty or worse. Cash machine seems to be out of order all the time.

Drop off hermes parcels in an eve, handy it being open late. Great team of staff in there, always friendly and happy to scan the parcels. Matt Farrar

Not one to review but selling them baps at 2.39 is one scam but then to sell them rock hard on the bottom and like a soggy sponge on the top for literally 30p less amazes me

The butties made in store are dreadful got a cheese and spring onion. The cheese was hard. Like it had been left out all day to dry out. The evening staff don't even talk to you when serving. They are normally talking amongst themselves

Ok so I don't usually write reviews in general but have been overcharged twice in the last few days in spar in Colwyn bay. I know it's a simple mistake to happen but when I brought it to the clerks attention at approximately 18.15pm today she refused to give me a refund on my card (the method in which I had paid) and aggressively threw (still 30p short) some change at me across the counter. She also refused to give me a receipt at first and I had to repeat my request. It is wrong to steal whether it is 50p or £50 and I would have concerns about vulnerable people being stolen from or treated in an aggressive manner when visiting this shop. I will steer clear for the foreseeable future and warn others to do the same.

Need to ensure their baps arnt frozen before selling bacon/sausage baps.

The scruffy looking guy with the black wooly hat that doesn't fit his head (sure you all know). 0 manors 0 respect and very rude.Very disappointed with my visit

Miserable jobs worth staff that clearly don't like having to deal with Hermes parcels. I send rather a lot but will switch back to using Parcel Force rather than dropping them off here.

Fabulous fresh subs every time. Love it when Jay is on- the best sub maker, always cheerful and chatty. Never get fed up of subs, and compared to other 'fast food', they are pretty healthy, depending what you choose.
This Spar shop has a "Bargain Bites" area offering warm burgers, sausage or bacon baps, baked potatoes, toasties, sausage rolls and cold baguettes, most priced (currently) at either £1 or £1.09. The food isn't wonderful but it is cheap although sometimes the burger baps get a bit overdone if they've been left in the heated display for too long. As Colwyn Bay has no McDonald's, Burger King, Greggs, Sayers or Pound Bakery if want a cheap burger or baguette this is about your only option.

Fairly nice clean and rather spacious spar. They were even open late over the festive holidays and no grumbling from the employees either.

Good prices and pleasant staff. It's all you could want from a Spar.
I seem to remember this was a Woolworth store so that should give you an idea of size.
