Disappointing visit, first visit under the new owners, place has lost its spark. Felt we were being pushed to take our table when we were all enjoying a drink and chat in the bar area. No toilet roll. Some meals were ok, a couple were meagre to be honest. Just didn’t feel special. Staff dressed very casually too which didn’t help.

Booked a meal on line for 1st January which they confirmed many days before, then they cancelled the evening before as they weren't even open, so why did they accept my booking and I only read their cancellation email enroute to our meal - no way to run a business or treat customers, not that I will ever be a customer of theirs again or recommend them to anybody

Tired decor but a full restaurant mostly gives you the impression that it's great food. How wrong we were! Four of us dined. Waited a long time for starters which were OK but after another lengthy wait for the mains, two of our medium rare fillet steaks came out dry, grey and overdone so were sent back. However, what we did not expect was to be virtually shamed for sending them back. The waiter told us "chef is sorry about your fillet steaks, he does admit that they were overdone and stood a while. He will replace them with two sirloins out of his own money!"We eventually got two fresh medium rare sirloin, however the rest of our party had eaten their mains including a very dry looking devoid of sauce seafood linguine. I had gone past eating by the two hours later so left half of mine.They did take the steaks off the bill but it was never about the money. We did leave a tip. Very disappointing.

I was there yesterday, 10/31, with my boyfriend's family and I loved everything. Humanized service, fast, the girls were very kind, attentive, the food arrived quickly,The atmosphere was perfect, air conditioning and music: note It was my first time at this restaurant and I hope to return soon. Congratulations to all of you. All very good. I loved! I will recommend everyone who speaks to visit Wales. Oh! I'm sending this review from my other profile. Very, very good Italian in Conwy.Food was very good. Excellent range of dishes.Service was brilliant.Just the right amount of 'intervention'...Attentive, but not overpowering.Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Oh dear… first and last time … food average and service sadly very poor. Rolling of eyes at the end when we asked for the bill was the cherry on the top! It seems what was once an iconic restaurant has lost its spark! Very sad indeed.

Had the sea food linguini, menu described this as prepared in a creamy sauce.Firstly, my pasta was overcooked, seconit came with a tomato base which frankly tasted as though a tin of tomatoes had just been warmed up and poured onto pasta and the three muscles plus prawns only seafood I could find had been dropped on top had zero taste.When asked how my food was, I let water know it wasn't good, tasted bland,and the only response was I'll let the chef know." Obviously, it wasn't too interested rectifying the issue.
My husband and I ordered the salad which was good. Then we ordered the margarita pizza. It came and was soggy in the middle and no basil. I asked the girl who came to clear our plates if the margarita pizza was not supposed to have basil on it, and she said all sarcastically oh, I don’t know I’ll go find out and she never came back. It was the worst pizza I have ever had in my life.

Over the years had many excellent meals and good service in this restaurant however visited in September 2023. 7 in party some starters very poor quality and cold, two main meals could not be eaten smothered in salt and sauce and very little else one returned, no alternative offered (but not included in final price) two beers ordered however three charged for, one dinner waited for a desert all others had finished their meal, had to ask three time before it arrived. A bill was initially requested to be itemised this did not happen all costs lumped together. Very poor all-round service and quality. We were told that the restaurant had recently changed hands I can only presume they are living on the record of the previous owners. Very disappointed will not recommend or visit again.

Midweek meal so not very busy in the restaurant, on arrival shown to our seat & ordered wine & Beer , waiter came over and spilled full bottle of beer all over wife’s new coat ! Not a good start , even though he commented that the coat was waterproof, so all good there !! Didn’t even open the wine for us to try ! Food ordered and eaten, can’t complain on this ! But noticed all the other customers starting to put complaints in about incorrect meals being brought to table & lack of customer service, we had to call waitress over after the bill was produced as we were not given any discount for our inconvenience, other customers where offered this , we had to sort of Haggle to get the situation sorted. Seems like restaurant is being run by very young people, with lack of customer service experience, senior management should be on site to overlook these problems when they occur in my opinion

The black beef was delicious ? nice to see the lights on, so you could see what's on your plate lol ?squid starter over cooked tough as old boots ? gutted to find no CONWY muscles on the menu?as that's the only reason why I went ?. They were so yummy, massive too, hopefully they'll get them back on the menu soon.?? but all tho, had a lovely evening with the family, great place to go and very friendly

A brilliant non-pretentious Italian restaurant. We loved it so much we returned the following evening. Wide menu, food delicious, great efficient service with a smile from Tilly and the other waitresses. Buzzy atmosphere. It was packed both nights so best to book a table. Enjoy!
