Lovely little place to eat on the high Street. Scampi and chips was lovely and a large portion. Really friendly staff to. Definitely recommend this place if your out and about in

Avoid. There are plenty of nice places to eat in Conwy, this is not one of them.Upon walking in the lady serving initially told us there was no room for our group, before telling us we could break up into smaller tables. We agreed to this even tho it was the opposite of welcoming and no effort was made to move tables. We ordered toasted sambos, as they did not have ingredients for most of the other items on the menu. The fridge was almost empty so we settled on tap water. The wait times were outrageous. The lady explained the sandwich maker was half working?! To be honest it was a faulty towers experience, I left before my food arrived as it had been over an hour. Won't be back ever again.

Worst burger in my life - over cooked and missing ingredient. Coffee weak, tea great. Quiche very good but staff fair.

Unfortunately, with it being rainy, everywhere is packed. I completely understand that, at times, business can become overwhelmed with an influx of people all at once. However, it's how you deal with that. The service was absolute carnage. We weren't advised of a wait time, but waited 20 minutes for someone to come to us whilst the bar staff flapped around bickering about things not being done properly and telling customers they're too busy to come to their table. It seemed as though one member of staff was trying to do all the coffee whilst intermittently running around the floor, whilst two people were trying to take orders but getting them wrong. Customers were getting up and leaving due to wait. It just felt like there was no micromanaging going on or anyone who knew their stations. The food came out quickly but was a lot to be desired - had two sandwiches and they hardly stayed together. Tried to pick it up, and the bread disintegrated. Less is more - came to mind.Due to the staff altercations and interactions with customers, it gave a weird vibe to the place and wasn't really one we'd be looking to return to.

Nice busy little cafe. The food was ok. I think it could be better. The coffee I ordered was extremely hot, above the recommended temperature for heating up the milk when preparing coffees. The ladies there should get a bit of extra training on how to steam the milk at a recommended temperature as if the milk is boiling hot, the coffee does not taste the same anymore and is ruined. ?The customer service was really nice and friendly.

Absolutely disgusting cafe will not be returning! Waitress had an appalling attitude extremely rude and made multiple mistakes with our order and she must have asked me about 3 times what drink I ordered because she was too busy making excuses up for the fact that she made my sister's drink wrong but still served it to her anyway and expected her to pay for something that resembled toilet water in appearance! Not to mention the absolutely disgusting table at the side of us that hadn't been cleaned the whole time we were sat there which was attracting wasps and flies all over the place a wasp landed on my food whilst I was in a frantic state trying to get it away from me and the waitress showed no concern in the slightest! Lazy, rude and bone idol staff extremely unhygienic and filthy to a point where my sister left the cafe she was that traumatized at the amount of wasp and flies the absolutely disgusting table at the side of us was causing! Terrible service you should be ashamed of yourselves!I would have said hopefully the negative reviews will help you pick up on some improvements but seeing as you've been getting negative 1 star reviews for over a year (which not one of them has been responded to) and your service continues to be as appalling today as it was back then there doesn't seem to be much chance of any improvement! All's I can say is good luck because you're going to need it continuing to serve customers with an attitude like that!

Not too sure on the cleanliness of this place… staff handed me two forks by grabbing the bit you eat with, plates were wet, glasses didn’t look particularly clean. Overall food was okay but i’m a bit iffy on the service and hygiene.

Walked in at 9.20am Fri morning to be rudely told they didn't open till 10am yet their website clearly states it opens at 9am and there were customers already in. Manners are free and wouldn't go a miss here.

We walked in while the door was wide open & some tables had people sat at them to be rudely yelled at by a member of staff because they didn’t open for another 15 minutes. The tone was unacceptable & we will not try to go back when open, there was no need for the member of staff to yell at us as if we were naughty children.

Poor service. Sign in window that says 8.95 for panini and drink to be told they don't sell paninis. Glasses for childrens drinks dirty. I ordered Welsh rarebit, when it arrived it was burnt. I tried it as thought it might just be the edges but under the cheese was also completely black, on top of this it was also the crust of the bread. Complained as it was not edible. No apology said they would get another. This took 30 mins to arrive, when this arrived it was undercooked, greasy and cold, everyone in our party had finished their food 20 minutes ago. No offer of fresh drinks etc. Didn't feel there was any point in complaining again as their customer service was so poor. Paid in full no offer of refund . Avoid this place go to one of the lovely bakerys in town.

We visited Conwy in August last year and this venue was one of a limited few in Conwy that offered camomile tea and very good service and we noticed a couple on a neighbouring table had an afternoon tea. With this in mind we visited again this year with the view of ordering an afternoon tea. We waited at least 5 minutes for somebody to show us to a table and then another 10 minutes for somebody to take our order. We only returned this year because we were interested in an afternoon tea, however this was no longer on the menu but the waitress took our order anyway only for a further 10 minutes to go by and then be advised that they no longer offer an afternoon tea. I've no idea why this would be such an issue, they offer sandwiches, cakes, scones and cups of tea, surely it can't be that difficult? We then left and went across the road to another tea room to be advised that we were too late by 5 minutes for placing food orders so if we had been advised at Love-To-Eat when we first arrived we would have been there in plenty of time. We then noticed that the Pen-Y-Bryn tea rooms next door to Love-To-Eat offer afternoon teas so we went in there, the staff were very polite but we also noticed that some of the staff from Love-To-Eat were in there so it's no wonder they couldn't get to us in adequate time.

The service was terrible because they was not polite and did not respect my family and they forgot our drinks

Went in for a quick lunch, service was good, nice waitresses. However we got served cold soggy chips and the food was just about warm. Coffees were nice however upon seeing the bill we were confused why it was so high, we got charged for water many times… at least an extra £10 for tap waters which is just crazy

The service was slow even though the cafe only had about 10 tables. We waited half hour to order. When the food came two of the sandwiches were no where close to the menu and we had one taken off the bill. The bread fell apart and the sandwiches were possibly the worst we have ever had, very expensive for the quality.
