Absolute gem in the middle of Conwy! Delicious home-made food, friendly service and always a seat available. The Vegan Banana Blossom 'Fish' & Chips was astonishingly good. We'll be back to try the cake too next time!

We visited the M and J Bistro on a cold and wintry day in Conway and as soon as we stepped inside we had a warm welcome and we immediately felt warm and comfortable. I ordered the special which was the goulash with mash and salad which was absolutely delicious warming the beef was tender entire meal was delicious flavour, some warming and served with thickly buttered bread which you could dip into the goulash which was gorgeous. My partner had The Welsh rabbit which was cheesy and mustard and delicious and perfectly presented. The staff and everybody there were friendly warm and welcoming and made us feel so at home, the entire experience was an absolute pleasure. We thoroughly recommend the MJ bistro. They are also dog friendly and have a lovely menu of delicious dishes which are perfectly priced and affordable. We thoroughly recommend a visit if you’re in Conwy!

Loved this cafe, called into all the local cafes on the day and chose this one. Great ambience. Pryce waited on us and was great, he liaised with the chef to meet our requests. Lovely fresh food. Would highly recommend.

Popped in late Tuesday lunch time. Husband and I both had the posh fish finger sandwich - delicious. Daughter had cheese and tomato panini and the biggest posh hot chocolate. Would recommend
I really enjoyed the food here, they do homemade traditional food, tagines and goolash looks amazing , nice ambiant and a good service, i will definitely visit again every time i am in conwy :)

Found this place by accident to escape heavy rain! Ended up having a delicious cooked breakfast, all piping hot and cooked to order. Excellent coffee and friendly service. Definitely worth a visit.

Picked by chance, and were pleased we. We had specials of posh finger sandwiches, one Welsh rarebit and a panini. Could not fault any of the food. Two milkshakes and a cappuccino were also very good. Presentation was great and the place was very clean including the toilets. Would visit again
