Nice little quirky cafe with tasty food and coffees, dog friendly, nice staff, and laid back atmosphere.

Really lovely little coffee and sandwich shop off the beaten path! Make sure to check out the basement, as it contains a lot of interesting little oddities and historical plaques.

This place has been open for a long time. I used to go for coffee here as a teenager!Revisited for the first time in years, to bring my children to the Santa's Grotto event, and the place hasn't changed a bit! Small coffee house with the quirk of being within one of the original Conwy castle wall turrets. I can't speak for the food, but heard good things about it and that they have great vegan options.I am pretty sure the barista is the "Jester" of the Jesters Tower and we've seen him perform a few times at the Llangollen Faerie Festival. If so, he's great! ?‍♀️?Absolute best grotto experience (we've taken our little ones for visits with Santa, across Chester, Haworth, Shrewsbury, Liverpool and various locations in North Wales. But this was the most charming of all).It looked family-run and "Santa" was great with the little ones and it was personalised for the children. My skeptical 6 year old left with no questions or doubts about authenticity, which was a first!Reasonably priced and recommended! Half off for children who go to school in the local area and Santa is bilingual (Welsh & English speaking).

Just called in for hot drinks, one being a hot chocolate, was asked if I'd like fresh cream & marshmallows, of course why not, absolutely delicious, it was like having a drink & dessert all rolled into one, thank you, lovely little cafe, great service,

We didn't eat, so can't comment on the food, just had coffee. The Jester's Tower is featured in the new edition of the Indie Coffee Guide amongst some truly exceptional coffee shops so we had high expectations. Unfortunately I couldn't even describe the coffee as "good", hence my 3-star average review. We ordered flat whites, and what arrived was not a flat white. The milk texturing was poor, the coffee tasted under extracted, far too much milk which had no sweetness, not a million miles from automatic machine coffee flavour. Stands out as poor amongst the other coffee shops listed in the guide, couldn't recommend. Staff seemed unhappy. A real shame because the coffee kit they have is fantastic, a bit of training is necessary in its use. Views from the windows were fab.

* pet friendly and expensiveFor the best view, consider requesting a window seat. The restaurant is a bit expensive, but it offers excellent service.I highly recommend trying their hot chocolate,it's truly delicious. Additionally, the breakfast options are ok. Do checkout the small display on the ground floor inside the coffee shop.

A fabulous location with great views of the harbour if you get a window seat. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The food is not cheap but very good value for money: I had the best club sandwhich I have ever had. High quality ingredients very well prepared. My final tip is: even if you don't need to visit the toilet it is worthwhile taking a trip downstairs ....

Hands down the BEST vegan sandwich I’ve ever had! It was a massive portion and was absolutely delicious. It was a bit more expensive than we’d usually pay back home but totally worth the price for the lovely food and great location. There’s even a little exhibit downstairs which was an added bonus. We’ll definitely be back if we visit Conwy againVegetarian options: Multiple vegan optionsDietary restrictions: Caters for vegan, dairy free and gluten free

What a little gem! We had a decent coffee and hot chocolate plus some really good cake, the lady behind the counter was friendly and acknowledged us arriving and leaving. Down the stairs by the toilets is a room with a mini museum well worth a look.

Expensive.Great views although you could get great pictures of the marina and the CONWY Castle by stepping outside. There's a small history museum attached to the coffee shop if inclined.Vegetarian options: Caters for Gluten and lactose intolerant customers.Kid-friendliness: Not ideal, steep stairs to the entrance. Some seating outside the coffee shop also.Parking: Reasonable pricing for parking.Wheelchair accessibility: None to enter the coffee shop but there are some seating outside.
