I visit this restaurant three or four times a year. Normally the food and service are excellent. However the visit today was poor. One of the main dishes was completely wrong (chicken not paneer) and the desert choice was Ben & Jerry's, cheesecake or cookies and cream flavour, no other choices. Hopefully this is a one off.

We ordered a takeaway to a campsite in the middle of nowhere. Delivered on time, very friendly, fantastic food lots of it. Would highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options. Really nice food.

We were a walk in table of 3 quite late in the evening and it was busy, but they still seated us quickly. Despite being really busy and there being some bigger groups of customers, the service was fab. Drink and food orders were taken quickly, staff were friendly and we were checked on frequently. My partner had lamb Jalfezi, really saucy and the lamb was tender, our friend had a house special curry which was recommended by the waiter which was really tasty and I had the chicken passade, it was nice but I found the sauce quite runny and not much chicken. The rice and chip portions were small for the price in my opinion and that's the only reason it's not a 5 star review. We will definitely be back in the future!

Second visit here, although the last was circa 2yrs ago. The food was okay but …. Naan arrived with small pools of oil on top, my curry had chewy / grisly lamb and was barely lukewarm and rice portion wasn’t exactly generous so was gone long before your curry sauce. Service was pretty good even though they were very busy. I wouldn’t rush back.

We went here with our car club and they did us a lovely set meal on a Sunday for lunch as there were so many of us. We had a great time.
Staff were really friendly from the moment we walked in and the food was delicious and arrived quickly - what more could you ask for?
Great meal at Shampan this evening. Monkfish curry, saag paneer, chana masla, mushroom rice and garlic nan. Highly recommended.
