It was busy but there were no timing issues with the food and all fresh. Nice gap left between mains and dessert. Nothing was too much trouble for the helpful and friendly staff. Very enjoyable evening. Highly recommended.

Purchased a whole cake for my friend and was even able to pay extra for delivery service! Although I was outside the country they were very responsive and nice to work with! Would absolutely order from them again and apparently it was delicious too ❤️

The Yard Pizzeria
69 High St, CowbridgeAte here for lunch today with my mum after some shopping. I had the bruschetta tricolore to start followed by the Il Re pizza. We also shared a side of fries. Everything was gorgeous! The pizza dough was fully cooked and the tomatoes were so fresh in everything. The fries were some of the best I've had. On the way out our waitress asked us about where we'd been shopping, and the other waitress who'd seen to us was also friendly and more than happy to box up our leftover pizza. As tables were leaving the staff cleared and disinfected the table straight away. I thought it was good value at £53 for two starters, two pizzas, a side of fries and two soft drinks. My only niggle would be to get rid of the cutlery in pots on the table as it reminded me of a caf which didn't feel in keeping with the venue.

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home, the room was fantastic, we went down for dinner at our allocated time and the food was exceptional! Extremely great value for money. Shame about the weather but the hotel made up for it. Breakfast was fantastic will definitely come back and would recommend to everyone. Thank you for anamzing stay!

We ordered oysters, a prawn cocktail and a cheeky lobster & crab mac and cheese, really fresh and well presented, generous portions and quick service. Atmosphere was relaxed in the bar but still felt like a special place to visit - do take a moment to admire Chris's fire if it's lit!

This was my second visit and the place was as busy as the first time so it's popular.Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been before.Parking: It looks full but a lot of people are there getting a take out so spaces do become available within a few minutes

Also a dog menu provided doggie burgers too ( very waggy tails gave 5*).. All the staff were really friendly and attentive .We will def be returning.Vegetarian options: I had the veggie soup and truffle fries... excellent

Monknash, CowbridgeMet up with some friends for lunch here today and was not disappointed, a lovely old pub with a bit of history attached to add to the atmosphere. From walking in and finding the open fire roaring to the delicious food served and the staff being very helpful and polite . We were very pleased and will definitely be visiting this place again and have no reservations about recommending this place. Well done P + H.

Lovely fresh orange juice and am told the coffee was excellent, didn't try any of the good offeringsParking: Main town car park is next to the shop. Free for 2 hours with option to pay for longer stays, but beware you do need to get a ticket from the (rather slow) P&D machine even if it's just for the free parking

Both were very nice and would order again, even though the cheesecake was on the small side.Queue moved quickly and staff were friendly and efficient. Tables were cleaned in-between customers and the overall cafe was clean and tidy.Parking: Free parking at Waitrose right outside for up to 2 hours, but very busy and couldn’t find a space. Across the street is also free parking for up to 2 hours and easily found a space here.

Britannia House, Penny Lane, CowbridgeI love this chinese restaurant yes they arnt getting much business and it's not there fault they are really kind staff and they are trying there best I love there chow mein especially the beef and the chicken balls and sour dip is wonderfull I go here every day and I just love the kindness and the environment in the summer its nice to sit on the bridge listening to the birds or sitting inside looking at the fish tanks please come here guys I would recommend ive tried the curry and I find it Ok i don't know why people say its bad because its not the best time is the evening I like the most as it mainly quiet the price isn't bad but dose sometimes a pain but I know why they put it high because they don't get enough business and the people in cowbridge don't go here alot it's quite sad how they are missing out on a delicious meal thank you river view chineseVegetarian options: There's a few options of vegetarian foods I would try it out
