The male manager here is rude and seemingly a bit of a snob. Lovely lady took our lunch order. Couple minutes later this bloke shouts over that they only have one portion of fish left so can’t make two.Asked for a burger instead and he shouted back “no burgers”. I asked for a menu and what else they may not have only for him to walk off. No apologies, no explanation, no customer service. Perhaps he was having a bad time and decided to take it out on us?We walked out ultimately. LWheelchair accessibility: Very narrow and so it’ll be very awkward here if in a wheelchair or have reduced mobility.

Lovely little lunch spot, tasty food, friendly and welcoming service- a special mention- the cake! The best, and most generous portion sized, piece of cake I’ve had in a long time. Absolutely gorgeous and will be returning.

Not like it used to be .Having ordered our meals we drunk our coffee, and waited what seemed a long time but it’s not a fast food outlet , so we understood.I ordered a jacket potato with tuna and cheese with salad and coleslaw ,no onion .When it eventually came I couldn’t see any Cheese but the young man who served me assured me it was underneath the tuna ! I asked for salad dressing and he said they didn’t have any as it was still frozen !!I explained to the lady who served our coffee and she replied, sorry about that it’s the cook fault My husband ordered the fish pie , which he had to search for the fish .I felt it was it was not an atmosphere I could enjoy .Needless to say I couldn’t recommendThis place .

Hubby ordered the full breakfast, I had the smashed avocado on sourdough. He really enjoyed his, I’ve had better elsewhere. But it was very pleasant sitting in the window watching the world go by and service was prompt.

Went here for a couple of times for breakfast, great choice of food off the main menu, service was prompt and good, food was good although the sausages were a little disappointing, black pudding was one of the best we have had! Good music too! Will have breakfast there again when back in Cowbridge

If I could give more than 5*I would, it was a perfect lunch, well presented, good quality home made food, , desserts were amazing , topped off with fresh coffee, definitely the place to go. If your looking for a lovely lunch .
