Dislike going to a tea room and simply being given a tea bag and hot water for three quid.

What an amazing tea room! So pretty, full of character and unique , like stepping back in time , with bric a brac , memorabilia , antiques and much loved family heirlooms, I could have stayed there all day ! As it was a beautiful sunny day , we sat outside , plus we had 2 dogs with us and as not really hungry ordered their homemade soup and bread and tea , which was hot and tasty . I stepped inside and spoke to a lovely lady who turned out to to be the owner , she told me about the tearoom and its family history , and it was so Interesting There are homemade cakes , afternoon tea , sandwiches of all sorts available, a proper Welsh tea room, situated in a quiet spot off the main road . Would recommend a visit to any one, as its so pretty and quaint, offering lovely uncommercialised food and a lovely spot to sit and take a break from modern life !

Luckily stumbled across this place while visiting Criccieth, it's delightful. Had sandwiches, scones and tea served with style, as it used to be. Well worth seeking out if you're looking for somewhere to have afternoon tea.

Lovely quaint place that really is what it says on the tin "a traditional tea room" filled with lots of interesting pieces and pictures to look at. It brought back lots of great memories of childhood holidays.A family run business with lovely, friendly service. The bara brith was very tasty and would recommended. Just to be aware its cash only. Will definitely visit again, thank you

A little dated and slow service, food and drink was lovely though

Had cream scones and tea and coffee. Kids had an apple juice and milkshake. Place was quaint not what we were expecting inside. Service was quick and friendly.

Like going back in time! Whilst the hot chocolates we had were fantastic, the wonderful and quirky vintage decor sets this tea room apart from the rest!

Food good. Don't order coffee, took them 15 minutes to get me some after they were reminded. Tea for other half took 2 minutes

We are staying in Criccieth for a week, and found this beautiful little place yesterday, Had lunch hot drinks and cakes, it was just identical, the service was second to none, today was a little over cast so after a long walk, we went back for lunch, We both had the tomato and basil soup, it was the best iv ever had, Thank you for our wonderful experience, this place is definitely worth a visit, Words doesn’t do it justice

Found this by accident. What a lovely family run little gem of a tea room! We sat in the garden and had fresh homemade scones with jam and cream, a tea and cappuccino. Absolutely delicious and so reasonably priced. Quick service and it was like stepping back in time. It is cash only, so be prepared.

Lovely quaint tearoom with loads of character. Very friendly and efficient service. The homemade soup was delicious and, unlike most other cafes, we were provided with a generous jug of milk and portion of butter and milk. Just perfect

We absolutely LOVED this place. Quirky, old-fashioned, fabulous tea room serving great food and drinks at really reasonable prices. Loved all the memorabilia from years gone by, and the lovely friendly family running it. Will definitely return.
