Really tasty food, portions quite large however but great value nonetheless. The slow cooked lamb shoulder was exceptional as was my wife's curry. No room for dessert and the restaurant is closed now until spring next year we will be back as we regularly holiday hear.

The whole experience was great from the start the welcoming staff show you in to a well layed out restaurant in which you never feel crowded in and it continues to get betterThe food was not only extremely well cooked but had lots of little touches that just raise it to the next level full of subtle flavours throughout the meal including the veg which can be good but boring not here the veg was well cooked with a twist I will leave you to discoverProbably the best meal I've eaten in Wales

Excellent meal in comfortable surroundings, friendly accommodating staff, good selection of food and drink on the menu with prices to suit, essential to book in advance as this place is probably one of ( if not the ) very best restaurants on the peninsular, looking forward to visiting soon

We have just spent a week in this lovely part of Wales and we always come to Poachers for a meal when we are here on holiday It is five years since we have been able to visit and we we were not disappointed. The standard of food, service and ambience is still first class. The menu is excellent and there is something for everyone's taste. I would highly recommend this restaurant and next time we are in the area, we will.definitely be back. Many thanks for a lovely evening.

We are holidaying in the area and this the fifth restaurant we have tried and it is by far the best. Booking is essential, the night we visited the restaurant was fully booked. We had a reasonable wait for our meal but this was partly because we chose not to have a starter. My wife had pan roasted chicken in a peppercorn and mushroom sauce. The chicken breast was beautifully cooked and the was a good amount of sauce. I enjoyed the Welsh black beef in a wine and beer sauce accompanied with a Yorkshire pudding. There was a good selection of vegetables and new potatoes. The meals were well presented and the cooking was to a high standard. I finished my meal with a great sticky toffee pudding. Congratulations to the chef and the staff who were pleasant and attentive.
