We picked this cafe to have lunch in, in advance of our trip to Criccieth Castle. It was only a short walk away, and the pull in by the castle, and plentiful street parking were free. We had not been able to find the lunch menu online but phoning the night before, a lovey lady assured us of the wide menu, and saved us a table. We were delighted to find a warm welcome, prompt service and a full menu. I had the seafood latter, which was almost half the price of a well known other restaurant in the town. Delicious and plentiful, with a tasty salad and italian bread and butter. The tea was the best I have ever drunk, being served in an old fashioned china cup, and refillable teapot, using proper loose tea. My husband enjoyed his omelette and Mocca coffee. We did not have room for dessert (and we like our food!). We noticed young families, and older couples, all enjoying the vibrant atmosphere and food. We highly recommend.

Great little place , quick and friendly service .Soup of the day was the best I'd had. So tasty and came with a lovely warm ciabatta. The one recommendation I would have made is to serve butter rather than margarine .Vegetarian options: A good selection of vegetarian options

We visited today for tea and bara brith which was very good . The only slight issue we had is that the bara brith arrived some time before the pots of tea - which meant we have more or less eaten it before the drinks arrived . However , they were busy so it wasn’t too much of an issue .

We popped in a couple of times during our 3 night stay in town. We just had coffee and cake. Other meals people were having looked very nice. I had latte and a piece of the best cherry bakewell I have ever eaten, home made, beautiful, moist and absolutely delicious. Lovely staff. A must for a coffee and cake afternoon!

We had a lovely lunch here. Small downstairs but more tables upstairs with good views. My seafood platter was delicious and generous with a generous portion of ciabatta to mop everything up with. Nothing to complain about at all.
