Just had the most amazing meal at the Nant Y Felin! Beef was cooked to perfection and the portion sizes of my main and pudding were plenty.The meal was so tasty and homecooked.Staff were so polite and the recommended Gin for me when i couldn't decide was lovely!Will certainly return! A member of my family had a disappointing experience here recently during Christmas dinner for a large group of people. The quality of the food was deemed to be good, but the whole experience was let down by lack of heating on a very cold day (especially considering the average age of the large group) and one main course was served much later than all the other meals, with a distinct lack of sprouts on the plate.

We’ve frequented this cosy little restaurant several times over the last few years whilst visiting relatives in the area but have not (as many of us are guilty of) found the time to post a review. We’ve never had anything other than a perfect experience. It’s a family run place and it shows in every aspect from the quality of the food, the creativity on the menu and the atmosphere. And a special mention for the lovely service from the front of house staff, that’s just the finishing touch.. keep up the good work!

Lovely place to eat. Friendly staff. Our waiter was very Polite. My husband had the mushrooms to start. And couldn’t taste any brandy in the sauce. He did mention it to the waiter. I had steak as a main. I felt the steak was pretty fatty. The rest of the meal was lovely. Great pub. I loved the personal touch with family photos on the wall.
